Chapter five

Sitting in the coffee shop having coffee was strange to Cleopatra, usually she would have coffee at the confines of her bedroom and now she was out in the open and she could Smell fresh air mixed with coffee beans everywhere.

Her first sip took her back to memory lane,she remembered her mother making her the best coffee in the world,her mother would always make a humming beat and sway her hips while making her delicious coffee.

She snapped back to reality when she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"Cleopatra you've been really quiet,don't you like the coffee". Evelyn asked.

"I love it". Cleopatra replied as she sipped more of the coffee.

"Madam do you feel uncomfortable,should I take you home". Maria asked concerned.

"Maria am fine, enjoy your coffee".Cleopatra closed her eyes and placed the mug under her nose as she sniffed the content, it was heaven.

Soon she heard more chatting between Maria and Evelyn but she didn't want to be part of it,she just wanted to be invisible and float on air .She heard Evelyn squeal for joy and it was followed by a deep baritone voice.

"Theo my boy,you're here,how are you".Cleopatra heard Evelyn say but that didn't make her open her eyes,she was sure it was some friend of Evelyn's.

"Am fine mother". The deep baritone voice said,the voice make Cleopatra feel intimidated,she didn't want to open her eyes and be face to face with a deep voiced monster so she continued with her gloomy imagination, where she was trying to run away from home and from her marriage and she was caught by her husband.
The thought made Cleopatra feel light hearted,God forbid the day her husband gets angry at her.

"This is Maria am sure you already know her and this is Cleopatra".Evelyn chirped to her son,as Theo glanced at Cleopatra and wondered why her eyes where closed.

"Hi Maria, hello Cleopatra". Theo said politely,he hated pleasantries but anything for his mother.

"You know son I would have gotten into an accident today". Evelyn informed as Theo widened his eyes in panic.

"But luckily Cleopatra saved me in the nick of time,or I can't imagine what would have happened". After Theo's mother said this,he felt indebted to Cleopatra,he lived his mother more than his own life and since Cleopatra saved her he saw the going damsel in a new light.

"Am very grateful Cleopatra, thank you for saving my mother". He said honestly but Cleopatra eyes were still closed,she wasn't listening to what they were saying, instead she was imagining floating in the cloud and becoming a rainbow.
Until Maria nudged her arm and Cleopatra jerked out of her thoughts and opened her eyes.

She looked at Maria angrily for destroying her imagination but maria quickly apologised and told her that Evelyn's son would love to talk to her .Cleopatra quickly turn her eyes away from Maria and looked at Evelyn then the man behind Evelyn.

She froze as their eyes locked,she didn't understand what happened to her but as soon as she saw Theo she was speechless, he had auburn hair that was just perfect length,he was probably 6'7 so he looked really tall, his nose where slanted and pointed,she didn't want to but she glanced at his lips and found a perfect plump reddish lip,then his eyebrows being auburn as well and his eyes,they were a pool of green and blue, two contrasting colour fighting for dominance, they were were flecks of green and blue mixed together at one point, then a war of green and blue at another angle, it was not what she had ever seen before.

She blinked when she found out she was staring too much and looked away,but she wasn't the only one who staring, Theo was mesmerized by her beauty,he had seen many beautiful women and he didn't give a hoot about them but here was an angelic statue and he couldn't look away,the surprising thing was she wasn't Even wearing makeup yet other girls couldn't hold a candle to her,she was perfect,and those grey eyes looked purple with flecks of gold,it was different.

"When you too stop staring at each other inform us". Evelyn said as she giggled and Theo blinked,he had never stared at a girl like that before and now he looked embarrassed.

"Mother I have to go now,Cleopatra thanks again for everything". He said as he left.

There was something about his baritone that was very intimidating and the way he walked like he owned the country not in a prideful way was even more intimidating.
She was lost for words.

Even after they left for home she was still lost for words,even after she changed to her old fashioned closed she was lost for words,and when she sat close to the window and looked at the skies she knew that she was smitten.

Smitten by Theo.

Whadup my people,hope you're having a good time thinking if Theo eyes exists,to save you the trouble yes he's eyes exist and they are rare,so is Cleopatra's, what's better than putting two special people together.
