Theodore was very happy to finally have Cleopatra in his arms, although there was always this feeling that he would loose her to fate, but he always brushed those thoughts aside and focused on his reality.
He loved her a lot,and he could do anything for her,he was willing to buy her the world if she asked. His mother Evelyn had noticed the changes on her son,her son who never smiled would laugh at any given opportunity, she was elated, and a part of her knew Cleopatra was responsible for this, she was highly grateful to Cleopatra for giving her son peace.
As Theodore went into the busy streets of London confused on what he wanted,he finally decided to patronize a flower shop,he opened the doors of the flower shop followed by a bell ringing, alerting the cashier that a new customer just stepped in .Theodore's aura was undeniable,he's posse was so confident it was alluring, and he caught the eye of so many single ladies who wanted to rip he's clothes apart .He was a well know gentleman, with a polite personality and a serious face, but even the most beautiful women found him desirable and they didn't care if he didn't smile a lot .Being a leader of the King makers didn't help him in this situation,as girls flocked over him like crows to a corn field, but he seldom noticed, even when his friends urged him to explore, he didn't want to,he didn't view love as anything special, not until he met Cleopatra.
He walked around the flower shop as women stared at him, some were even married, but he didn't notice, he never noticed, he just tried to pick the most beautiful of flowers, the ones that would show Cleopatra how much she meant to him.
Just then soft fingers touched his shoulders,he turned back and saw a woman who looked like she wanted to eat him raw .He was happy actually not because the woman was beautiful, but because he had been meaning to ask a woman for help on picking the best flowers ever since he walked in and now he had seen a volunteer."Excuse me are you a seller here". The woman frowned at his question, but she immediately smiled when she knew he didn't mean to insult her.
"No,but do you want my help with something". She asked with a smile as she fluttered her eye lashes at him.
"I just want your opinion on this, what flowers do you think would be appropriate". He asked the woman shyly as she smirked, she liked his innocence and she really hoped the flowers were for his mother.
"What message do you want to pass with the flowers". She asked, and this made Theodore uneasy,he wasn't ashamed of stating his feelings but it felt weird being in such a situation, he smiled to himself when he thought of Cleopatra.
"Love, a message of my undying love". He said as he looked around the shop, the beautiful woman wanted to faint, she didn't know who it was that had taken her target but she knew whoever it was, must have had good fortune to come across such a nice man.
"Then take the roses, its universal that roses means love". She said as she gave him a bunch of roses, and for a second she wished he was it giving to her.
"Thank you, what's your name fine Lady". He didn't say it in a flirty way,he said it in an honest way because she was indeed beautiful.
"Samantha,Lady Samantha". She said as she curtsied and he bowed his hat.
After paying for the fresh, red roses,he thanked Lady Samantha again before leaving the shop.
He couldn't wait to get home,to confess his love and to make her know she was important to him, some parts of him wondered what she would say, some parts found him stupid for loving a married woman .What if she still loved Aaron, but Theodore wasn't a coward, he was a man who took risks and he was sure that how ever the day played out, he would be fine with it.
What he didn't expect though was to get home and find an unknown car in his yard, what he didn't expect was seeing his house door slightly ajar, and what he never expected was finding Aaron on his knees with a wrapped gift box in his hands and Cleopatra's teary face.
