Chapter Thirteen

Cleopatra has never felt so bold or courageous in her life, she had never thought she would be able to run away from home, she had to make that decision when Aaron came back with an heated iron,now she was being followed by bodyguards but she didn't care.
She ran and ran even when she could hear footsteps behind her.
The streets were not so busy during the dark night as she ran into the woods not caring about wild animals.
The only place she had on her mind was the meadow, she knew the bodyguards wouldn't find her there .So like a mad woman she ran into the Meadow,even when her dress was torn and her eyes were bruised and her cheeks were purple and her hair was a mess,her legs and thighs were bleeding badly but she didn't care,she was tired of Aaron and she was tired of staying.

She went deeper and deeper into the meadow where she could hear nothing but her own heart beat .She didn't want to risk her chances of survival so she went even deeper,she soon found the cliff and like a tired horse she sat there looking at the moon with her blurry vision.
Tears soon sipped through her eyes and she didn't want to hold them,she was so scared that Aaron was going to kill her,she was scared that the hot iron he was holding would mar her skin and that was why she fled .But now as she sat by the cliff she didn't want to remember why she fled, she just wanted to die on her own in peace .She knew Maria would be shocked when she would hear the news,but she didn't care.

She closed her eyes and inhaled the cool breeze,everything around her was dark and scary,but she wasn't scared,even the moon looked scary like it wanted to eat her alive,she had never been so close to the moon as she was now,it looked so reachable,like if she stretched her hands she would actually touch it,but she knew it wasn't possible.

Soon there were footsteps behind her but she didn't bulge, she didn't care if her bodyguards had found her or if it was Aaron,right then she was ready to die,because she was done trying.

"Cleopatra what are you doing here". Cleopatra didn't even open her eyes when she heard Theodore's voice, she wasn't in the mood to talk.

"I ran away from home". Cleopatra said casually while she continued to close her eyes,Theodore on the other hand was shocked by this news.

"Why". Theodore asked as he walked closer to her.

"Why Cleopatra". Theodore asked again as he stepped even closer but as soon as he was in front of her he froze, his eyes lingered all over her bruises,her hair was a mess and her gown was torn,her legs were bleeding and her back was designed with cuts.

"What happened to you". Theodore asked shocked,he had never seen so many bruises in his life.

"What happened Cleopatra". He yelled as he held her shoulders, but she still didn't open her eyes,she was dead inside,she was in pain but she was dead inside.

Theodore helped her stand up on her two wobbly feet but then he noticed the cuts under her barefoot,the heels of her barefoot were red probably from all the running.

"You ran all the way here". Theodore asked again as he tried to balance her posture.
He tried several times to help her open her eyes but he failed,so he did what he thought was best,he carried her bridal style to his car and sat her down on the seats.
Even during the rides she didn't speak or open her eyes, he was scared,he hoped she didn't have some sort of internal injury.

"Should I take you back home". Theodore asked and right then Cleopatra opened her reddy eyes.

" No".She screamed as she covered her ears,she was going insane,she didn't want to hear Aaron's name or remember Aaron's house.

Theodore nodded in understanding and took her to his home,he didn't know what happened to her but he hoped it wasn't related to her husband.

As soon as he got to his mansion,he opened her car door and carried her bridal style,and as he passed through his door his mother stepped in.

"Oh My God,what happened to this poor child". Evelyn said as she took in Cleopatra's appearance.

"Mother tell the doctor to come first thing tomorrow morning". He told his mother as she nodded.

He took her into one of the guest room and laid her down on the queen sized bed, all the rooms in his house were very big,so he was sure she would be comfortable.

"What happened to you Cleopatra". Theodore whispered as he touched her scratched eyebrows.

Finally someone became bold enough to run away.(it was about time)

That's that but today we have a very funny topic.
If you were a animal what would you be,I know its pretty random but I certainly had been dreaming of asking this question.

I would be a beautiful peacock,okay that's a lie I would be a tigress,cat walking all the days of my life.
