Dinner was a blast!

Everyone is friendly, the food was weird; but Slenderman made a separate batch for me(all human food).

Only Ben and Jeff had the guts to make noises at the dining table. They ranted about various nonsensical topic that somehow made the table lively. No one dared to jump in on their conversation, but it was enjoyable like that.

Jack never dined with us. He would get his share of food that was somehow covered and leave through the backdoor. Masky and Hoodie sat side by side as Masky ate about ten layers of cheesecake whereas Hoodie kept nagging at him, unconsciously ignoring his share of food.

Sally was being fed by Slenderman through one of his many tendrils, often wiping her face when she gets messy. It was adorable as I watched the tendrils work whereas Slenderman gracefully drank a cup of coffee(I don't know how because whenever he lifts the cup to where his mouth should've been, there was always this quick flash of blackness).

Ben sat beside me as Jeff sat across him; giving me full access to hear their banters which consists of girls, murders, gore, and an quick topic of sex. It was quick since Slenderman would have his tendril at ready when they mentioned the word.

Yup, dinner was spectacular.

As I was ready to leave the table to head to my room, Jack walked passed me; slouching and all. Jack had a blue mask that he somehow always keeps on his face no matter the circumstance, he would always wear an entire black attire that would always make his blue mask and auburn brown hair stuck up.

"Hey, Jack?" I called out, making his body stiff as his head slightly tilted to where I was. He didn't say anything, but I knew I had his attention.

Silence swept across the hallway as I didn't really have much to say. He seemed to sense it as he said, "Welcome to the family, Asriel." Before walking away. This somehow made me smile yet guilty at the same time. I should've said something. Tell him anything. But I couldn't. Damn.

As I was about to continue my walk to my room, a gentle tug played at the hem of my shirt. Looking down, I saw Sally looking up at me with her big green eyes. "Hi, Sally." I cooed which made the little girl smile.

"Azzy, can you tuck me in bed?" She asked adoringly and I smiled.

"Sure, take me to your roo-"

"I got this, child." Slenderman suddenly spoke behind us, I jumped whereas Sally remained stagnant.

"Aw, but I wanted her to tuck me in." Sally argued but Slenderman took notice of it as he carried the little girl in his arms.

"I know but you're tired. We both know what happens when you're tired and you're not tucked in properly." Slenderman explained to which the little girl sulked at. Slenderman turned his head towards me, "You can go on ahead, child. Rest well."

I nodded and went on my merry way when a body suddenly collided onto mine. I yelped and crashed on the floor; I immediately felt a hand grasping my arm, pulling me back up to my feet. It was Hoodie and beside him as an anxious looking Masky.

"Azzy, omgomgomg," (he literally said.. omg)

"I am so sorry!" Masky gushed out, his hands were shaking; his whole body fidgeting. Hoodie was already scolding him as I watched the both of them.

I giggled at how much they reminded me of my parents. But that giggled seized as Hoodie silently asked, "Asriel, are you okay?"

That's when I realized that tears were starting to flow from my eyes to the world to be seen. "Oh, no, I made her cry!" Masky announced with a comical moan.
