I didn't know what went into me, but I followed him. I followed the creepy lab man with Asriel in my arms. I made sure to walk slowly behind him, in case I had to teleport.

I can't run with Asriel in my arms.

"Do not fear, I will not hurt you. Any of you." He informed, his back turned to us as he walked through the darkness.

I remained silent the rest of the trip, occasionally glancing at the face of the body in my arms.

"He will be all right."

"You think so?" I finally spoke the first time since we started walking. I could feel him smiling, and I confirmed it as he slowly turn around to look at me.

"Yes."

The walk went back to being nothing but silence. Deafening silence and endless darkness until he said, "We are here."

The darkness instantly erupts into a series of silver colored equipments. Glass sprawled atop silver counters and before me was a tall glass tube. Taller than the creature in front of me..

"Where.."

The creature, whom I recall named itself as Gaster, turned. "This is the True Lab."

A chill ran down my spine as I clutch Asriel's body closer to mine. "A la.. what're we doing here? What do you plan on doing?" His hand reached out for the goat I was holding onto and I mustered up a pixel hand to slap his away.

"D̶̡̧̗̳̄̈̍͜ö̴̧̟̯̞͇̝́̎̔̀́̅͝ň̶̡̹͋̃̋͘͝'̷̨̙̼̙̒̀̇͠t̷̰̩͚̳̃̽̋͆͒̓ ̸̖̲͈̞̮͇͛͊̆̇̃́̈́͘f̴̨͙̮̮͓̜́ư̴̲̲̬̈̓̆̎̍̌͊ͅć̵̨̗̯̗̪͓͇͎̋̾̌͝k̶̞͚̘͍̭̐͒͗͠ỉ̸͎̬͚̤͛n̵̨͙͎͔̤͌̑̊̾͠g̷̹̩̞͋̉͊ ̴̛̭͑͋͂̈́̃̾̌t̸̨̺̜́̓̅̀o̶̮̜͈͚͉͖̎͑̃̕͝ü̸̟̙̱̒̌̀͗̚͘̕c̵̡̞̝͍͖̀̈́̄͌̋̌h̴̢̆͐̾ ̴̳̻̯̏͂̑͑͑͑͋h̶̨̬̙͇̪̣̬̦̑̿̋͋̈́̿i̶̛̖̭̒m̶̢̡̼͇̩̿̍͌͐͛̚͝."

He looked at me like I was losing it, and I could feel that I am. I am losing it. I kept glitching even after I spoke, and it took a while to calm the codes down.

"You are broken." I gave him a glare to which he shook his head to, "You are broken because.. he is." He pointed to Asriel in my arms and I couldn't have felt more defeated at that sentence alone.

He offered his arms toward me, and I knew what he was trying to do. "I'm here.. to help."

I clutch onto Asriel's body tighter, burying my face into the fluff that is his neck.

"I know it is hard.." I felt myself glitch once more, this time affecting Asriel. "But you have to trust me."

And I knew he was right. I can't fix this.. I can't trust anyone to fix this.

"I will fix him."

Feeling every code in my core give up, I finally let go of Asriel's body to see Gaster take it from me. "I will take care of him."

I felt my knees give up on me and I sat there, on the floor, watching Gaster hook up Asriel's lifeless body to a lot of wire before putting him inside the glass tube thing. There was a loud beeping sound and I was immediately up to my feet.

"What's—" a rush of water came falling from the top of the tube-like capsule, filling the entire thing, making Asriel's body float.

"It is part of the process. Do not be alarmed."

I gave him a look and observed Asriel through the glass, he was curled like a fetus inside someone's womb, but he was breathing. Thank god he's breathing.
