I pulled my hands from my side and used it as a shield from Jack's incoming attack.

I dreaded and waited for the pain to crawl from it to my entire body, but only a gentle breeze of the night touched the tip of my skin. Opening my unconsciously closed eyes, it automatically widened as I saw a familiar green outfit standing right in front of me.

A shield in his hand as he heaved out a breath and pushed the masked man off of him. He remained raising the shield, as if protecting me as I coughed out another round of blood. My vision kept flickering in and out of consciousness. Dark spots clouded my surroundings as the white moon pierces through the grey clouds in the sky.

"Azzy.." Ben's clouded voice called as I remained lightheaded to everything else. "She's lost a lot of blood. Goddammit, Slender!" Ben yelled out as I felt long and slender tendrils wrap my fragile body, carrying me gently.

"I.. I'm sorry, Benjamin. I—"

"Just fix her!" Ben shrieked and my head exploded in various types of nausea as Slenderman teleported.

We were in his private Study and Ben appeared shortly after a flash of bright light enveloped the room. Slenderman pulled out one of the books on his ginormous bookshelf and one of the shelves moved to reveal a pathway.

He and Ben entered the said pathway as I remained determined in forcing my lungs to work properly. The area looked an awful lot like a Mediterranean dungeon with its old fashioned looking walls and a long staircase made entirely of cement, with torches as lights that somehow magically ignites itself as Slenderman passes by.

I coughed out another pile of icky goo out my mouth, my breathing becoming more and more unbearable. It hurts, to say the least. Out of the corner of my eye, I had never seen Ben look absolutely terrified as he kept his gaze locked on my frame.

We thankfully reached the end of the stairs and before us stood a large and ginormous tube. Bubbling water erupts like a volcano at its bottom as Ben averted his gaze at me to give the foreign object a stare down.

"It'll help her, Benjamin." Slenderman inquired, "We just need the syringe.."

My heart dropped as Slenderman's loose tendril held up what was, indeed, a syringe. It neared my flesh and seconds after I was being injected with a foreign liquid.

A gasp left my lips as I winced in pain as the liquid crawled into my veins. It stung, as if it was going against the current of my blood flow.

"Hey, everything's going to be alright. Trust me, okay? I won't let anything bad happen to you.. Okay?" Ben's reassuring words stuck to me despite the unsureness in his tone as my surroundings immediately became hazy.

My gaze refocuses on Slenderman who seemed to have been observing me as I swayed back and forth and back and forth until..

I was swallowed by darkness.

An empty cavern loomed above all life in the Underground.

Dark.

Moist.

Silent.

Those are some of the words used to describe the place. A gentle breeze swept a small field of golden flowers, smartly occupying the light that came from a gap above.
