"We could've guessed that's where He is hiding. Why do I feel like it's so fucking cliché?" Jeff scoffed.

They were riding a bus downtown. Mika was seated next to Jeff and the two gentlemen sat next to each other in another seat.

"It's because it is." Mika answered the question posed, "The real question we should be asking is: how are we gonna get our asses to the Triangle? No one's even made it to the Triangle successfully."

Silence dwelled inside the bus as it hit a rock on the road, causing it to sway side to side.

"The statement isn't no one, it's no human."

Mika furrowed her eyebrows as she gave Jeff a look, "What do you mean?"

"You'll see."

The three crowded outside of a payphone booth as Jeff posed casually with the phone pressed against his ear, making pouty lip faces to his Proxy; loving every giggle that slipped pass her lips.

The new look she bore did some unmentionables to Jeff, and so far he was loving it. She looked like an absolute angel right then, he was about to tell her that when there was a sudden click! on the line, followed by a stiff yet poised voice.

[ Hello? ]

"Hey," Jeff started, his voice intentionally deep and intentionally.. well.. huskier. A glitchy sigh came from the other line of the phone.

[ Hello, Jeffrey. I am very delighted you called and I am sure it is because you need something from me, no? Do you even remember the money you've sworn you'd return about seventeen days ago? ]

Jeff's entire demeanor shattered as he stared blankly at nowhere with a stupid grin on his face. His mind races with one thought alone.

F U C K.

"Heeeeeeey, Clockwork! How you doin', girlll?~" he played it off anyways, leaning an arm on the booth of the payphone, smirking despite knowing the person on the line wouldn't see. He could feel the eye roll from the faceless creature right outside the payphone.

[ Changing your tone will not make me think I am speaking to a different person, Jeffrey. Nor would it make me forget the- ]

"Did I tell you Slenderman's with me?" Jeff shot at his luck once more, an eye closed as he cringed and hoped for the best.

The line went silent for a brief moment, making Jeff question his life choices.

[ Slenderman's with you? ]

Bingo. Jeff had thought as he twirled the cord of the phone unconsciously. "Yeah, and you know what?" He cooed, resting both elbows by the machine, his eyes glued to his Proxy who watched him like she was watching a live performance.

[ Wh-What? Did he say something about me? Did he want me to visit? Oh, my. Oh dear, when was the last time I visited him? Oh.. ]

"Hey, relaaaax~" he drawled on, "I'm sure Slenderman is okay, you know how forgiving he is." He played a wink at nowhere in particular and Gaster rolled his eyes.

"But you know what," he played his card again, "I think he'd appreciate it if you help us with a little something-something." Jeff gushed, a grin played his features as he waits for the response.

[ Jeffrey, are you toying with me just so you could get my help? ]

His eyes drifts into a void right then, "Fuck."
