❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤"Some days are good, some days are bad, it's inevitable" My mom used to say.
It made me feel optimistic on the bad days, it made me look forward the good ones..... But good days for me was extinct and only the bad days had become inevitable.
It had only been a few days, but those few days consisted of so much raw agony, heartbreak.... Darkness.... I knew it would forever cast a shadow of exactly that over every other day that I lived.
After the murder that I was forced to clean up, almost 2 days went by and no men came.
I didn't know if there simply were no clients or if they were giving me time to recover from the fragile state I was in after the anal rape.Maybe they didn't want to risk anyone else reacting like Antonio did.
My blood went cold everytime I looked at the floor and saw the faint redness stained onto it.
I tried my best to not look at it, or even think about it, but it haunted me.
I could still hear the gunshot echoing through the room at times, see his lifeless body fall to the ground. The blood... the way it felt.... the way it smelt. It took a toll on my sanity...
I was exhausted, but I just couldn't sleep.
My eyes would close for a few minutes and remenissions would come flooding back and I'd wake up gasping for breath and drenched in sweat.
As for food, I had no appetite but if I did I'd probably have starved because there was no food or water.Punishment maybe, but I didn't even care....
Having so much time to do nothing else but think I realised that Antonio must have someone looking for him... parents, friends...
I wondered if he told someone were he was going that night or if he was seen entering the god forsaken place. The thought gave me hope but I knew I couldn't dwell on it.
Sometime around midday the door opened and I heard footsteps come down the stairs.
I assumed it was Maya so I didn't bother to look but when I heard how heavy the footsteps were I knew it wasn't her.
To my surprise it was a muscular man but that wasn't the surprising part.
I was accustomed to seeing different men walk down those stairs, it was the fact that slumped over his shoulders was an unconscious girl.As he walked closer to the bed I realised he left the door open.
My eyes widened and without taking even a second to think, I sprinted for the stairs and starting running up them.
My heart raced as I wrapped my fingers around the door knob and was about to pull but of course the world couldn't spin in my direction for even a second.
My head slammed into the door and once again I was being dragged down the stairs.I had taken so much blows to the head no idea how I wasn't in a coma yet.
Halfway down the stairs, I guess I passed out because I woke up to tiny hands on my shoulders shaking me at the bottom of the stairs.
It was the girl that the man had over his shoulders.
"Oh thank God, I thought you were dead!" She exclaimed and hugged me.The gesture shocked me and it unintentionally was shown on my face.
"Oh I'm sorry, I was just really worried", she said really quickly.
I smiled.
"It's okay.." I reassured her. "But who are you?"
Before she could reply ,the door flew open and that monsterous man came down clearly angry.
He walked straight toward me and slapped me.I honestly was not shocked.
"I am soooooooo over you and your little stunts." ,He yelled in my face.
I almost gagged when his breath hit my face. "You're already paid for by a few important clients but I promise you... you're dead the minute the last one walks out that door" he yelled pointing at the door.
He grabbed my shoulders and shook me.... "Do you understand? DEAD!"
"THANK. GOD !" I said through gritted teeth looking directly in his eyes.
I had literally no idea what i was thinking.
He grabbed my hair dragged me to the bathroom, shoved my head down the toilet bowl and flushed it.
"How was that!?" He asked as I gasped for breath.
"Re-freshing... " , I sputtered out.
There was definitely steam coming out of this ears at that point.
He dragged me back to the room, shoved me onto the floor and started pushing a pillow over my face.
In that moment I thought that was it, that I was about to die of asphyxiation.
I immediately started to hyperventilate and then my mind shut itself off, my thoughts were just a bunch of scrambled words.
My peripheral vision started to constrict and tears ran out my eyes.
My heart and lungs felt like they were on actual fire as I tried to breathe and couldn't.
I started to give up, started to slip away and then what felt like seconds before it went dark... he moved the pillow.I instictively gasped for breath but it got stuck in my throat because of how fast i did it.
"I swear to God.... I'll take pleasure in putting a bullet in your head" I heard him say and left.
The moment he did the girl ran to me held me up.
"Oh my gosh. Do you need cpr? Oh my gosh I don't know how to do cpr!" She cried.
I held up my hand signaling her to give me a minute and she nodded.
I closed my eyes and clutched my chest as I tried to return my breathing to normal.
It took several minutes before the pain in my chest eased and I could properly breathe again.
The girl who I still had no idea who she was sat in front me looking at me worriedly , gnawing away her fingernails.
I looked at her, released my body down on hers and started to cry....
Coming so close to death.... In that way.... Was beyond any words....
