Dizzily, I glance around and stumble forward.

Each blade of grass is taller than me, it's probably more of Parker's height. Blurs of green rush around me, it's the swirling grass though.

The wind picks up too.

I stuff one Poké Ball into my overalls' chest pocket, keeping the other in my hand. For a few minutes, I sit down to rest on a log.

When I regain my composure, I stand back up again. With each of my steps, a new patter of paws or claws sounds to my left or right. An annoying Pokémon keeps pinching my ankles too, I spot a flash of orange near my feet each time. Remembering what Parker had told me earlier, I think it might be a Paras.

After a few more minutes of getting pinched. I suddenly scream out loudly and toss down my Poké Ball as hard as I can at the orange blur. A gold burst of light emits from them as they make contact. I crouch down, curiously watching the Poké Ball twitch.

Wasn't this what was supposed to happen?

And if you failed then the Pokémon would burst back out?

I sigh out in relief when the Poké Ball halts it's twitching.

It was getting annoying.

But the relief wasn't for that, it was for the fact that the Pokémon hadn't come back out.

Whatever it was, I couldn't wait to see what it was. But no, I have to find an Eevee. It's not that Parker had said I'd probably suit one, it's more of that I actually want one. No, maybe. I honestly don't know the percent of each reason. Oh well, Parker had given me two Poké Balls.

Time to use the other one.

I rise back to my feet, switching the Poké Balls. Empty one in hand, the one with whatever in it in the chest pocket.
