For the next few days, Parker keeps me company and escorts me around New Bark Town.
We go out for ice cream, to browse through the small market and occasionally explore the forest. Yesterday, he even got me to try a glass of his homemade lemon cheesecake. I thought I'd hate it, but I didn't.
It was delicious!
Ellie teases me whenever she sees me though. It's been getting on my nerves lately. But, I think she may be right. All her teasing is about me having a crush on him. I've only ever had one or two crushes in my life. I know everyone in New Bark Town and we get few visitors.
Is your heart supposed to flutter when they're around? And I always get giddy when I think about him, which is a lot.
Hopefully he hasn't noticed though.
But sadly, his stay ends all too quickly for me. I know Parker has to leave. But I can't help wanting him to not. But at least my father and brothers have come back home.
