Eventually, I do stumble upon Gary.
"Hey, Gary. Do you know where Parker's run off to? I don't know where he's gone." I ask Gary, tapping his shoulder to wake him up again.
He finally stirs and comes back to life, "Oh, Parker? He went into the field after you, said you were taking too long.".
I'm sure my eyes bugged out.
"Oh, I was just lost and I did lie down for a bit under a tree when I first got out." I say, sounding a little guilty.
Gary just laughs, "Everyone gets lost in there, lass. Parker's just paranoid since you didn't have any Pokémon yet, hm. Did you actually end up catching any?".
"Uh, yeah. Two, an Eevee and something else that was bothering me. I don't know what it is, I didn't even get a good look at it." I smile proudly at the mention of my success.
"Good job, I wonder what you did end up with. Could be anything really. Well, I'm going back to sleep if you'd let me. I'm sure Parker will wake me back up again when he gets back though." Gary grumbles, tuning back over with his berry tree to his pudgy back.
Once he's asleep, which didn't take too long, I sit back down on the grass.
