Chapter Eighteen

(Vinny's POV)

I strolled into the lunchroom, and went to the table Gab usually sat at with Krissy and a few of their friends. When I got there, Kat was sitting alone, so I sat with her. "Hey Kat." I smiled. She smiled back, and then her eyes lit up. "I need to ask you something!" "Shoot." I said as I took a bite of the sandwich Al bought me from Dunkin Donuts before school. "Okay, so I know we're not really that close, but you're close with my two best friends. So, I figured since we have the same best friends, you'd maybe do me a favor and talk to Madison, and I don't know, maybe set us up?" Kat rambled. OH MY GOD IT'S PERFECT. I could set up Madison with Kat so he'd forget about Gab, thus making her mine. "Of course, I can help you with that. As long as you promise to help me with Gab. I love her but she's sort of hard headed, it's going to take a lot of convincing to get her to go out with me." I said, finishing off my sandwich. "I gotchuu boy. But, here she comes. Oh, and Vinny?" Kat said, pulling me down as I began to get up. "If you hurt her, I'll kill you." She let go of me, and patted my arm. "Have fun!" I nodded nervously, and smiled at Gab when she reached us. "Hey baby girl, I'm going to have lunch with Vin, as I'm sure he told you. You're going to be alright alone?" Gab asked. "Yup. You kiddos have fun. Vinny, remember what I said!" Kat said, and then we walked off. "What did she say?" Gab laughed. "Oh, nothing..." I laughed. "Whatever you say weirdo..." Gab laughed, and we sat under a tree together. "So, you eat, and I'll do most of the talking." I said as I watched her unwrap her sandwich. She nodded, and looked up at me. "So, I know I've said it a million times, but I don't think you understood how sincere I am... I am so sorry, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Hurting you, in my opinion, is the dumbest thing I've ever done in my fourteen years of life. I'm really hoping you can give me another chance at this friendship, because you honestly mean so much to me." I said, playing with my fingers. She nodded, and then looked at me. "I know you're sorry, but it's just hard. I want to be your friend, I want you to be back in my life, but when you get hurt like that, especially when you're that young, it sort of ruins anything that would've happened in the future between us." "And I know you feel that way, but we can take things slowly. I just want you back in my life. I've made so many mistakes, I just need my best friend back." I said, my eyes watering. "Vinny, don't cry...." Gab overlapped my hand with hers, and I could swear I felt electricity when we touched. "I forgive you. And I think, just maybe, we might be able to take things back to normal. Just, give me time." She said, rubbing my hand reassurely. I smiled, and nodded. "Good with me. I'm glad you're back in my life beautiful." She smiled. "I'm glad too." Thank God. My best friend is back in my life....

(Mikey's POV)

How do you get someone like that off your mind? Everytime I shut my eyes, everytime I tried to think of something else, it just went straight back to her. Krissy. She was so perfect, so beautiful, this isn't like anything I've ever felt before. To think I get to spend so much time traveling with her honestly makes me so happy. I decided to teaxt Vin, since he goes to school with her:

Aye Vinnay. Waddup bro?

Now just to wait for his reply. This shouldn't take long, Vin is a pretty fast texter. I thought about Gab, the girl he was head over heels for. She was very pretty, and I can so see them going out. As the fans would say, I ship it. I laughed to myself, I spend way too much time reading their tweets, but it just makes me so happy, how cute they are. Then my mind drifted back to Krissy. What would they think if I dated her? I mean, it's defentiely a possibility. I remembered when I was dating Montana, they were pretty nice to her. There were a few death threats and rude comments here and therem but for the most part, the fans were okay. I was broken from thoughts when my phone vibrated, I unlocked the text and read it to myself:

Hey it's Gab from Vin's phone! My sister won't shut up about you so here's her #. I'll let her know you're gonna text her ;)

I laughed, and smiled. Yup, she's defentiely going to be my best friend...
