Chapter Fifty-One

(Gabrielle's POV ; One month later)

It's weird, seeing myself on the news. Thinking about how concerned my parents probably were, how concerned Krissy is... Vinny is..... It actually broke my heart. but my main goal was to stay alive... And that's why I hadn't broken out... Yet. Marko had began to trust me, he let's me stay home alone, but he takes all the phones and locks his bedroom door from the outside so there's no way I can get out. Soon he's not gonna lock the door, I can feel it... And then that's when I'm gonna make a break for it. I needed to get out of here.... I needed to see Vinny. I need to feel his lips on mine again, I need to feel the warmth of his body against mine... I just need him. Tears began to stick in my eyes as I thought about it, but I wiped them away when I heard Marko making his way into the room from the shower. "Hi baby..." He smiled at me as he walked to his closet. "Hi doll..." I smiled, I had to play along... That's how I was gaining his trust. "Do I get a kiss?" He asked while pulling pants on. "Maybeee...." I smirked. "Oh, so you're gonna be a tease today..." He winked, and made his way towards me. "Maybe..." I laughed. He picked me up, and crashed our lips together. The feeling of his lips on mine made me want to puke, I desperately craved a kiss from Vinny right now, but if things go smoothly, I'll be in his arms again soon. He set me down on his bed, and I fake smiled up at him. "Are you about to head to school?" I asked. "Yep... I decided you earned something..." He smiled. I crossed my fingers behind my back. "What?" "I'm gonna leave the door unlocked... You don't have to stay copped up in here all day!" Marko smiled. "Awe, thank you..." I smiled, and quickly touched my lips to his. Ewh. That dumbie... Today is my chance to get out. As soon as he had eaten and was out the door and on the bus, I began pulling on my pants and one of his sweaters. It had to be late Februrary by now... It can't be that cold. I pulled on the black UGG boots I had on the day he brought me here, and pulled my hair into a tight bun. Going through his drawers, I surprisingly found my iPhone... That idiot. I unlocked it, and quickly called nine one one. They said they would be over  within fifteen minutes. I cried tears of happiness for the first time in forever. I was finally going back home...

(Vinny's POV)

"Zan... Zan stop..." I laughed as she tickled my sides. "Not until you say you love me..." She smirked. "I love you..." I laughed, and she stopped. She collapsed on top of me, her head laying on my chest. God, I've missed this girl. We've gotten so close lately... I love it. We both sat up, and sipped on the chocolate milk we had just made. I forgot how much I loved her. As I looked aroudn the room, our eyes met, and I smiled. "Can I try something?" I asked. She nodded, and blushed. I moved forward, and connected our lips. I fell deep into the kiss, and then my mom burst into the room, causing me to quickly pull away. "God mom! You scared me!" I yelled. She was crying, what? "Vinny, Zan, they found her..." She smiled. "Found who?" I asked. "Gab, they found Gab...."
