(Gabrielle's POV)

"Okay, so, what other police station can we go to?" Vinny asked, running his hand up and down my thigh to keep me calm. "Um, there's one an hour away, do you want to try that one?" Al asked, looking at us through the rearview mirror. "No. Al, I'm not making you waste gas going out there. This really, isn't something we need to take to the police..." I whimpered, feeling completely weak right now. "Gab, shut up. This needs to be brought to their attention. We can't just let that little bitch get away with what he's been doing to you.." Vin said, looking down at me sternly. "But, I can't let him hurt you..." I mumbled, tears beginning to fall down my face again. He shook his head, and placed a kiss on my temple. "Stop worrying about me. I'm a big boy, how many times do I have to tell you this? If he even tries to hurt me, I'll kill him." I had never seen Vinny like this, his eyes were dark, and he was missing that usual perkiness. I shook my head, and buried my face in my hands. I was the cause of all this. If I had just never gone out with Marko, if we had just stayed friends, none of this would be happening. I laid my head against the window, and secretly prayed to myself. I just want things to go back to normal. But was normal even a choice anymore?

(Marko's POV)

"Bro, so you lied to us?" Brandon asked. "Not necessarily. You heard Krissy... She used me to get over Vin..." I mumbled, taking off my helmet. "No, bro. You told us she used you to get to Vinny. But it was the complete opposite. And we've been sending her all those texts... Oh my God. We're terrible." Brandon shook his head, he felt so guilty, I could tell. "Listen, I'm sorry, I was hurt, and I thought she deserved it. But now I understand, she didn't really do anything wrong. We're targetting the wrong person." I said. "Who do you think we should be tagetting?" Brandon asked. I exchanged glances with all of them, and we nodded our heads. "Vinny." So, it was settled, he was the one we should be targetting.
