Chapter Fifteen

(Vinny's POV)

Madison. She thought Madison was a good dancer?! Better than me?! Please, he wishes. I was officially enraged, so I called up Mikey. "Hello?" He answered, I could hear otther voices in the background. "Mikey. I. Am. Pissed." I said through gritted teeth. "Hold up..." He took the phone away from his mouth, but I still heard what he said. "Madison! Turn down the music I'm on the phone." Shit. He was with Madison. Of course he was. I forgot, they're best friends now. When Mikey returned to our conversation, I quickly told him I had to go, and hung up. I tried to think of who I could go to. I felt alone, trapped. I'm blowing this way out of proportion, I know, but I really like her. And now that we're talking I don't want Madison to ruin my chances. I'm praying he remembers all of the guys swore that they'd never take Gab from me. She was all I've ever wanted in a girl. I laughed, and remembered the first time I saw her. She was absolutely nuts in Kindergarten. I was shy, I hadn't truly became myself yet. But she brought me out of my shell. I remember, I was so confused when I found out she had a twin, and they looked nothing alike. But they both became my best friends, and we were inseperable. Until that day in the sixth grade, when I ruined everything. I should've let her kiss me. At the time I didn't recognize the stronger feelings I had for her. But now it might be too late for me to express those feelings. I mean sure, we're talking again, but does that mean we'll ever be able to be more than friends? No, no it doesn't. I sighed, and attempted to get to sleep. Tomorrow at school, I'm going to try and straighten things out....

(Gabrielle's POV ; Next morning)

I groaned as I rolled out of bed. November 28th. We had twenty-five more days until winter break. I could make it. I hope. I ran into the bathroom before Krissy, and locked the door, then jumped into the shower, and washed. When I got out, I blowdried my hair, and then wrapped my towel around myself. I unlocked the door, and prepared to feel the coldness bite at my skin. I opened the door, and was hit with the air, so I ran to my room, and locked the door. Ahh, much better. I slid off my towel, and into my robe, and tried to find something to wear, when I heard my phone ring. I ran to it, and looked at it. One new text from Vinny. I slid the unlock button, and read it to myself:

Sit with me at lunch today? We gotta talk.

I texted him back saying yes, and then threw my phone back on my bed. I finally decided on an outfit,  so I threw it on, and then softly curled my hair. I sprayed my "Be Enchanted" perfume, and walked through it, then grabbed my phone and backpack, and headed out. Krissy was waiting for me at the door. I laughed, she was always ready before me. We yelled goodbye to our parents, who were staying home from work today, and then walked to the bus stop. I absolutely hated the bus, but a girls' got to do what a girl's gotta do. We sat in the very front seat to avoid the seniors, and talked. "So, you and Vinny?" Krissy wriggled her eyebrows as she applied lip gloss. I laughed, and rolled my eyes. "What about us?" "Oh, so you admit you guys are an us?" She smirked at me. I groaned, and blushed. "Krissy, leave me aloneeeee." "Aweee, Gab likes Vinny again!" She cheered, making everyone look at us. I groaned, and then laughed a little. I swear, I can't go anywhere with this child. Finally, we arrived at school, I dashed off the bus like a mad man, and ran to my first class, where I sat next to my best friend Kat. She is my bestest friend, but she is absolutely obsessed with Madison. Oh Jeeze, wait until I tell her I get to travel with him. This should be fun....
