Chapter Forty-Six

(Gabrielle's POV ; A month later)

"Vinny, baby, I love you so much...." I said, and reached up to connect our lips. "I love you way more...." Vinny smirked, and teasingly ran his lips against mine. I stood up higher on my tippy toes, balancing myself by gripping on to Vinny's shoulders... He's sucha tease. Finally, his lips found their way on to mine. I smiled, and held on to his neck. He picked me up, and held under my legs to keep me up. I connected our foreheads, and I smiled. Finally. Life was perfect. Vinny was my boyfriend. Marko was shipped off to some relative's house in Delaware, the football team apologized, and they're all like my big brothers again.... I couldn't ask for anything more. "AWEEE. LOOK AT GINNY." Brandon cooed in my ear. I laughed, and Vinny let me down so I could hug him. "You guys are seriously the cutest fucking couple in this school." Brandon admitted as I ran back to Vinny's arms. "Tell me something I don't know...." I winked, and kissed Vinny's cheek. "Thanks bro..." Vinny laughed, and pulled me closer. "So how's Marko?" I asked. I sort of feel bad for him, but then at the same time I don't... He got what he deserved. Turns out, a judge found out his mom got in the case, and she was stripped of her badge, then he settled everything and Marko isn't aloud to be withing three hundred feet of me. "He's doing alright. Turns out Delaware is good for him. He's apparently got a new girlfriend.... Which I doubt. He's a nut, I feel bad saying that but it's true..." Brandon laughed. "Defentiely. Poor kiddo, went crazy over a girl...." I sighed. "But you're not just a girl..." Vinny said. "Awe..." I smiled and kissed him. "Ewhhh. Get a room...." Brandon gagged. "If you're paying for it, I'm in!" Vinny laughed, and winked my way. "Oh my God, you guys are pervs..." I blushed, and cracked up. "We're your pervs though! And, I've gotta get to football practice. Good lovebirds!" Brandon noogied both of us, and ran off. I smiled, and turned to Vinny. "I have to go to Poetry Club... Care to join me?" I laughed. "Ew, God no. I'm gonna walk home, and then I'll walk back to pick you up. Okay?" Vinny asked, snuggling noses with me. "Okay. Just be careful. It's pouring rain out there, and I don't need you getting hurt." I said, and softly kissed him. He laughed, and kissed me again. "I love you." "I love you more...." I winked. "I love you most... Have fun baby." Vinny kissed me once again, then ran outside. I smiled. I love that boy so much....

(Vinny's POV)

I put up my hood, and pulled both straps of my book bag on to my shoulder. It's a fifteen minute walk from the school to my house, make that twenty since it's raining cats and dogs.... I really should've thought this through. As I walked, I heard this sound behind me, but I figured it was just the rain. That was until I took a hard blow to my jaw, landing me on to the concrete. My vision was blurred from tears, but I could make out a dark figure standing above me. As the tears subsided, I realized what... Or more like, who the figure was... It was Marko. A bolt of fear struck through my body. "What bitch? You thought I'd actually dissapear and let you have Gab that easily? You wish. I'm not going down without a fight..." He sneered. I stood up, and brushed myself off. "Come on Marko, we don't need t-" Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my stomach. I looked down just in time to see Marko pull the knife from my stomach. I reached down, and felt blood, making my face go pale. My legs locked on me, and I fell to the concrete once again. Marko laughed, and stood over me. "That's what you get for stealing my girl from me. Payback's a bitch." He kicked me, and then ran off. Things around me started to blur, I held my stomach, trying to ignore the unbearable pain that I was going through right now. What do I do? I can't just let myself sit here and die! I reached into my pocket, and shakily entered nine one one into my phone. I held the phone to my ear, and prayed for a quick answer. "Nine one one, what is your emergency?" I heard from the other end of the phone. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. My phone dropped from my hand, and I laid my head on the ground. Slowly my eyelids got heavier, and heavier, and then everything went black...
