Steve we're running low on time I reminded him as we stood in the run down apartment that Bucky had been hidning in,panic filled Buckys eyes as footsteps could be heard on the roof.I gasped as a grenade flew threw the window busting the glass as it landed at my feet,Bucky quickly grabbed me by my waist as he pushed me against the wall using his body as a shield as Steve threw his shield over the grenade containing the blast.After realizing the threat had been neutralized Bucky released me from his grasp before busting the floor as he pulled out a backpack from underneath the wood planks,you guys are completely surrounded I heard Sam inform us over our ear pieces as Bucky threw his backpack out the window.Dont to this Buck you could kill someone Steve said as Bucky took down several swat team members that had come threw the window,I'm not gonna kill anyone Bucky claimed before he busted the door down as he started descending down the stair case Steve hot on his trail.I rolled my eyes as I clicked my ear piece Sam watch out they are heading out the building I said as I climbed on the ledge,where are you at he asked as I huffed I am going after Buckys backpack I said as I ran across roof tops before pulling my ear piece out and stepping in it.I grinned as I jumped landing on my feet as I grabbed the backpack only for something to crash into me,I groaned as I stood up to see Bucky towering over me.I quickly stood up slipping the backpack on,give it to me said as I shook my head as I kicked his feet out from underneath him causing him to fall on his knees as I ran taking a knee as I slid across the roof not realizing I wouldn't have time to stop before going over the edge I braced myself for impact as I slid off the edge only to not hit the ground,I looked up to see Bucky's metal arm holding on to the backpack holding me up as I dangled a hundred stories in the air.Drop her Buck I heard Steve's voice call as I looked to see him standing below me,no I yelled don't drop me if he drops me I die I yelled at Steve before Bucky hoisted me up causing both of us to crash backwards.Ow I said as I laid next to Bucky,are you okay he asked as I nodded good give me my backpack he said as he stood up suddenly pausing as he looked behind me.I turned my head to see T'Challa standing a few feet away from us as a swat helicopter flew around the building,you can withstand long falls right I asked Bucky as I turned to face him as he nodded why he asked as I shrugged before kicking him in the stomach causing him to go flying off the building causing T'Challa to run towards him.I quickly grabbed T'Challa's arm as he tried to run past me and pulled him to the ground as I straddled him,I think we all ready have enough people at this party I said as I tried my best to hold him down.Why would you protect someone who killed the father of a dear friend he asked,because I believe he is innocent I said as he broke from my grasp before rolling us over.You know I refuse to hurt someone I care dearly about he said before standing up,so if you stay out of our way you won't have to I said as T'Challa walked towards the edge of the building as I stood up watching him disappear.I huffed as I grabbed Buckys baseball cap placing it on my head before pulling my hood over as I climbed down the fire escape with hopes of making back to Sams place without being caught. *******************************************
I sat across from Sam as spread the contents of Buckys backpack onto the kitchen table as Sam shoveled cereal into his mouth.Wow he really is great as blending in I said as I showed Sam the pictures of me and Steve I had found that had been taken over the past six months,he sure does have a bunch of pictures of you Sam said causing me to blush as he laughed shut up Sam I mumbled as I flipped threw the papers.I froze as we heard a light knock on the side door causing Sam to get up quickly looking threw the blinds before opening the door revealing a very dirty and tired Steve and Bucky as they quickly duct into the house closing the door locking it as I jumped up wrapping my arms around Steve's neck as he wrapped his arms around me hugging me tightly,thank god your okay I said as I broke from the hug before throwing my arms around Bucky causing him to tense up as I hugged him before he hesitantly wrapped his arms around my waist causing Steve to smile at us once we broke the hug as Sam cleared his throat so what's next Sam asked as he took his seat at the table we lay low Steve said atleast for the next couple of days long enough to make a plan he said.Steve grabbed my arm I need you to do me a favor he said as I nodded anything I said as he looked up at Bucky,we need to change his look he can't look like this it's way to obvious he said as he gestured to Bucky.Okay well you take a shower and get cleaned up I told Bucky and I will take care of it I said he nodded as Sam showed Bucky where the shower was while Steve took a seat at the table going threw the paper.I shuffled threw the pictures on the table finally finding an old picture of Bucky,he was clean shaved with short hair I bit my lip as I showed Steve the picture.I can do this if you give me some scissors I said as he smiled as Sam walked back into the room as he sat down I snickered,what now he huffed causing me to laugh I need scissors I said as he shoved another spoonful of cereal in his mouth before pointing at a draw by the sink.Knock yourself out he mumbled his mouth still full of cereal as I laughed. *******************************************
Bucky watched me carefully as he sat in a chair in the bathroom as I stood infront of him with a razor,his face was covered in shaving cream as I started to shave his beard.I am sorry if I accidentally cut you I have never shaved a guys face before I said as he looked up at me giving me a gentle nod.Huffing I tried to find a good angle to stand at so I could get close enough to properly shave him before Bucky grabbed my waist pulling me between his leg as we both blushed.I quickly finished shaving his face before grabbing the pair of scissors,we're half way there Buck I said as I began cutting his hair,half an hour later there was a sizable amount of hair at my feet as I made a few final snips before standing back smiling.Okay were done I said as he stood up finally seeing himself in the mirror a smile gracing his lips.Whoa he said as I stood next to him as he ran his fingers threw his hair,I look like I did when I was me he said as I laughed softly as my I felt my heart ache.Come on I said as I pulled him into the living room where Steve and Sam sat on the couch,well I said causing Steve to look up at us.Wow Buck you look great he said grinning as he stood up hugging Bucky as Sam shrugged not bad he said causing my to roll my eyes as I wacked his head.Okay I am gonna go shower Steve said saying his goodnights as Sam stood up smirking,I have two beds and Steve's gonna sleep in the guest room and I have a bad back so I will be sleeping in mine you two can have the futon he said snickering as I shot him a glare before he disappeared down the hallway.I can sleep on the floor Bucky said as he pulled his jacket off rolling it up as a pillow I shook my head don't be silly Buck I said as I pulled the futon out.Bucky bit his lip,look I will be honest sometimes I have nightmares and I don't want to scare you or hurt you he said as I grabbed his hand,you won't hurt me Buck trust me I said as he looked into my eyes.Why do you trust me he asked as he innerlaced our fingers,you've seen what I have done and what I can do so why trust me why let me close to you he asked his eyes searching mine.I sighed Steve trust you and he believes you're innocent he knows there's good in you and I do to I said as he bit his lip as I laid down pulling him next to me as I laid my head on his chest,he hesitantly wrapped his arm around my waist is this okay I asked as I looked up at him only for his lips to meet mine as he moved so he was hovering over me as we kissed.This is more than okay he said as he broke the kiss causing me to smile as I wrapped my arms around his neck,good I hummed before groaning as I ran my fingers threw his hair as he raised an eyebrow at me,what's wrong he asked as I pouted I cut this section crooked I said referring to his hair causing him to laugh as he kissed me.We can fix it tomorrow he mumbled as he wrapped his arms around me before falling asleep I smiled as I touched my lips I could still taste his lips on mine.
