I let out a small laugh as Bucky shot me a glare,there he was sitting on the couch wrapped in blankets and tissues stuffed up his nose.I am gonna guess you caught Sam's cold I asked as he grumbled,he didn't have just a cold he had the flu Bucky rasped causing me to smile.To bad you don't have Steve's immune system I said as I set down my grocery bags full of soup and crackers.Have you checked your temperature I asked him as I pressed my hand against his forehead as he shook his head,geez babe your burning up I said as he coughed,I quickly grabbed the thermometer.Open up I said as he scrunched his face up shaking his head,babe it's a thermometer not a bomb now open I said as I grabbed his chin as he slowly opened his mouth.Dont move I said as I pulled my hair up in a ponytail as we waited for the thermometer to beep. The thermometer beeped as I removed it from his mouth.I think I am gonna throw up he said as I handed him the trash bin that I had placed next to the couch,he quickly grabbed it before emptying the contents of his stomach into it.Well your thermometer says 102.5 which is high I said as I sat next to him,I feel horrible he said as he leaned back handing me the bin I am sorry babe I said as I kissed his forehead before I got up disposing the trash bag.Want some soup I asked as he shook his head,I just wanna sleep he said opening his blanket wrapped arms inviting me to sit with him,you know I could get sick from being so close to you I teased sitting down next to him as he hummed burying his head agaisnt my neck as he pressed his cold body against mine.If you get sick I will take care of he mumbled before we both fell asleep. ******************************************* I woke up as I heard coughing only to see Bucky lurched over in the midst of a severe coughing fit.I gently rubbed his back until he finally stopped,I think it's time for some medicine I said as he pouted I am fine he said his eyes following my every move.Bucky your not fine and you know it I said as I dug threw the plethora of medicine in the kitchen draw.Cough syrup,and some fever reducer I said as grabbed the bottles before pouring him a cup of water,I sat next to him handing him the cup as I pushed some of his hair behind his ear.Take the fever reducer first I said as he pouted giving me his best puppy dog eyes causing me to laugh,no getting out of this one babe I said handing him the pills before he quickly took them before downing half the cup of water,little dramatic I said as I handed him the cough syrup I will get you back for this he said as he quickly took it coughing.Hmm I can't wait I said as I kissed his cheek,okay I am gonna make you some soup I said as I watched him slowly stand up from the couch blanket still wrapped around him.I am gonna take a hot shower he said as he kissed my cheek before disappearing down the hallway leaving me to my cooking. *******************************************I glanced up just in time to see Bucky making his way down the hallway,freshly showered with clean pjs on.You look a lot better I said as he hummed wrapping his arms around my waist as he kissed my neck,I feel a lot better he said causing me to smile it was the medicine I said playfully as he rolled his eyes.Here I said handing him a bowl full of soup,he sighed happily at the warmth as I grabbed my bowl before we both sat down at the table.I giggled as Bucky quickly shoveled the soup in his mouth moaning at the warmth causing me to laughed,babe I know it fells good but slow down or else you're gonna get sick I said as he slowed down nodding slightly. *******************************************
I sighed as I dried my hands off with a rag looking at the pile of dishes I had just washed,Babe come sit with me Bucky's voice rang out from the living room.I made my way to the couch as he wrapped his arms around me as I closed my eyes,you okay babe he asked as he gently rubbed my back as I nodded causing him to frown as he placed his hand over my forehead.Babe your burning up he said as he reached for the thermometer,he placed it under my tongue before pulling it at as it beeped.Well well well 102.3 he said chuckling softly as I groaned.Well at least now I can kiss you and not get you sick he said as he brought his lips to mine,I sighed as I gently kissed him before breaking the kiss.Well I did say I was going to get you back didn't I he said smirking as I rolled my eyes.
