"I don't want you any where near him"my dad said as I crossed my arms."James Barnes is a dangerous man and he is only staying here in the tower until Steve can find him an apartment" he explained as he tinkered with his suit."Dad I cant not meet him,his room is right across from mine"I said as he glanced up at me."Avoid him at all costs"he replied causing me to roll my eyes leaving him to work on his suits.I bumped into Steve as I made my way up the stairs"Do you know where Tony is"he asked as I pointed to the lab."Thanks Bucky's upstairs and I wanted to see if his room was ready"he said as I grabbed his arm."Its is and I can show you"I said as I pulled him up the stairs.I made it to the top of the stairs coming face to face with the one and only Winter Soldier,"Hi I am (Y/N),I am Tony Stark's daughter"I said as I stuck my hand out grinning.Bucky gave Steve a nervous glance before gently grabbing my hand shaking it,"James Barnes"he said standing a little straight as each word came out of his mouth."I will show you where you will be staying"I said grabbing Bucky's metal hand pulling him to the elevator.Steve gave us a small wave as the elevator door closed,"So how long are you gonna stay for?"I asked rocking back and forth on my heels."Atleast a couple of months"he answered as the elevator dinged,the doors sliding open to reveal the towers living room.I pulled him threw the living room before taking a turn down a hallway where all of the teams rooms where,"You're in this one"I smiled as I opened the door showing him the large room with a big bed."Its bare but you can do what ever you want with it"I explained as he glanced around the room wide eyed."This room is bigger than Steve's and I apartment back Brooklyn"he said causing me to smile."Well it's all yours,I am the room on the left and Steve's room is on the right.Dont be afraid to come and get me if you need anything."I told him before I left him to get settled. *******************************************
"We'll be back in a few days."Tony said as he kissed my cheek,"and remember stay away from Barnes"he whispered.I rolled my eyes,"by dad"I said waving him off.I made my way to the living room noticing Bucky sitting on the couch,"Whacha doing?" I asked as I sat next to him grinning."I was gonna watch a movie but I don't really know how to use the tv"he said shyly blush creeping up on his face.I smiled softly as I grabbed the remote from his hand turning on the tv and turning on an old movie.I laid my head on his shoulder as we both watched the movie before a voice interrupted us."Ms.Stark the sensor by the back door has been tripped.Would you like me to alert Mr.Stark?" Jarvis asked as I shook my standing up"No Jarvis I will go look,it's probably that stupid raccoon in the trash"I told him."I will come with you"Bucky said following me as we took the elevator.I swung the back door open stepping out on to the cold asphalt,"Huh I don't see anything do you?"I asked him as he walked around me looking around.I gasped as I was suddenly thrown against the brick wall I quickly stood up to see with two men wrestling with Bucky putting cuffs on him.I made a run for the door only to be grabbed thrown into a van next to Bucky."Are you okay?"Bucky asked as he pulled against his cuffs,"I think I am gonna pass out"I replied before losing consciousness. *******************************************
I winced as I slowly opened my eyes,I felt my hole body ache as I looked around the room that I was in.There were computers beside me and the chair I was in seemed to have some kind of head piece attached to it.The door swung open revealing a few Hydra agents"Glad you could join us"one of them said as he pulled a chair infront of me."Where's Bucky"I growled knowing full well he was the one I should be worried about,"Oh Mr.Barnes is no longer with us,his memory has been successful wiped just like yours is going to be."He smiled as they placed the machine on my head,one of them forcing a mouth guard into my mouth as I fought against them tears falling down my face."The less you fight it,the easier it will be my dear"He grinned before turning away leaving me alone with the other two agents.I groaned as my eyes slammed shut as I felt electricity shake my body,my brain throbbing as I let out a scream sweat rolling down my forehead as my nails dig into the arm rest of the chair before I blacked out. *******************************************
My body jolted up as I felt cold water rushing over me,my chest shook as I looked around to see a man infront on me looking down at me."Do you know who you are?"he asked causing me to search my brain for the answer only to come up empty."No sir"I answered as he smiled"That's perfectly fine my dear,change into the clothes on the bed and wait for your orders"he said."I nodded as I scrambled to my feet quickly pulling in the tactical gear that was sitting on the bed,I strapped the mouth mask on before following the man down a dark hallway."Your job is to assist the Winter Soldier in the termination of Iron Man and Captain America"he explained turning a corner.I nodded not looking where I was going and slamming into what felt like a brick wall,I wobbled before the person grabbed my arm steading me as I looked up to see those ghostly blue eyes..."Where have I seen those eyes before" I thought."Do you understand"a voice growled derailing my train of thought as I nodded at the agent before he instructed us to leave.I followed the Winter Soldier to his motorcycle watching as he threw his leg over the side grunting."Get on and hold on tight"he growled as I quickly obeyed climbing on,wrapping my arms tightly around his thick waist as we raced out of the base in search of our awaiting victims. *******************************************
After a few hours of driving we found the Hydra base that our targets were infiltrating.We climbed off the bike as the Winter Soldier handed me a pair of binoculars "Get up in a tree and keep an eye on their movements while I get closer"He said as I nodded.I climbed a large tree sitting myself on a thick branch as I watched our targets fight Hydra agents.I soon realized I had lost visual on Captain America,I quickly searched around for him before I heard a twig snap underneath me,I slowly leaned to see who was beneath me only to find Captain America looking up at me."Surrender and we won't hurt you"he said as I bit my lip before jumping from the branch to land on his bac,trying to pull him to the ground.He let out a grunt as he stepped back slamming against the trunk of the tree causing my hold on him to break as I fell to the ground."(Y/N) is that you?"he asked crouching next to me as I winced in pain,"who is (Y/N)?"I asked my head now spinning as Steve picked me up throwing me over his shoulder."I am gonna get you out of here okay"he said I nodded to weak to fight him as he carried me threw the woods to the Quinjet.He gently set me down,checking over my body for cuts or scrapes,he let out a sigh as he saw the burn marks on my temples from being brainwashed."You're safe okay"he said in a soothing tone as I nodded laying down on the seat my eyes closing."I will be right back"he said grabbing his shield."Bucky needs us"I mumbled incoherently causing Steve to stop in his tracks,"Where is Bucky?" He asked looking at me over his shoulder."I don't know he was looking for you"I replied before Steve stomped off into the woods.I winced as the sound of gunshots penetrated the air before a loud thud echoed threw the cabin of the Quinjet,I sat up to see Steve carrying an unconscious Bucky on his shoulder with Tony in tow."Are you okay?"Tony asked as he hugged me,"I am fine dad.I think the blow to my head when Steve threw me agaisnt the tree knocked my memories back in place"I told him as he shot Steve a glare."You slammed her against a tree"he yelled as I grabbed his arm."Dad please,bigger picture I am fine and have my memories back.Lets just get home and fix Bucky"I said as Tony huffed nodding. *******************************************
I sat next to Bucky in the hospital room,he was still unconscious.The doctor told us there was no way to tell if he would get his old memories back and if he could it was going to take some time for him to retrieve all of them.I stood up as soon as Bucky began to thrash violently in the bed pulling at his restraints as he woke up growling."Stop Bucky you're gonna hurt yourself"I said as I pushed him back down against the bed."Who the hells Bucky?"he asked his eyes clearly laced with anger and confusion."You are,you're Bucky!"I said pushing some of his hair off his sweat covered forehead as he flinched away from me."Dont you remember me Buck?"I asked as his eyes scanned over me his mind clearly trying to sort threw his memories."Please Bucky remember"I pleaded,"Stop calling me that!"he growled."Make me"I taunted,I knew I was on thin ice as he ripped his restraints jumping up and grabbing my throat,thrusting me against the nearest wall.He had a scalpel in other hand as he pressed in against my neck."Go ahead and do it Bucky"I said as he grip tighten around my throat with each word.His breathing was labored as he threw the scalpel across the room as my feet reunited with the floor,I let out a sigh of relief as he brought his hand up to my cheek before I wrapped my arms around his neck slamming my lips against his slightly knocking him off balance.He wrapped his arms around my waist as he kissed me back as I pulled away opening my eyes.He drew a sharp breath as his eyes widened,I could practically see the memories returning as he stumbled back towards the bed."Hey it's gonna be okay"I said as I wrapped my arms around his waist hugging him.He buried his face into the crook of my neck as he cried."You will be fine it's just gonna take time,but I promise I am gonna be here every step of the way"
