Having finished work, Emerys went back to Killian's to change.
She wore a burgundy maxi skirt, black crop halter neck top and black ballet style shoes.
Coming downstairs, Killian took one look at her and his lips parted in shock.
"You look divine, love." He said, getting up from the couch to meet her as she walked behind it.
He took her in his arms and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Thank you, Killi." She purred.

Killian dropped her off at Will's house, parking around the block so that they wouldn't be seen together.
"Text me when you're ready to come home." He told her.
Emerys' heart fluttered at his words. He'd never used the term 'home' with her before.
Usually, it wouldn't have bothered her. She called anywhere she was staying the night 'home', but there was something about Killian saying it to her that made the word seem very different.
He was beginning feeling like home to her.

"Newbie! You made it!" Will grinned as he opened the front door to her.
"Yep. And she has a name. So I suggest you use it before she gets bored and leaves." Emerys sighed, walking past him into the house.
Inside, Ruby, Regina, Zelena, Belle, Jefferson, Robin, Alice, Graeme, Neal, August and Peter were gathered, listening to something Will had put on to appease his best friend of the lot; Jefferson.
"Sorry. Emerys. I'm glad you came." He murmured, leading her through to the kitchen. "Drink?"
"Whiskey, please. Neat." She replied, looking around at all the faces of the next room.
"You sounds like my dad. He's an arsehole though, so not like you." He smiled nervously.
Emerys frowned. "Thanks?"
Will gave an awkward look and handed her the drink.
"I believe one of your funny little songs is on next." He said, sipping his beer.
"Oh?" Emerys raised an eyebrow.
As though it were clockwork, Dreams by Fleetwood Mac rang through the house, causing a small smile to tickle at the corners of Emerys' mouth.
She began to whisper the words to herself, swaying herself to the music.

Meanwhile, Killian had arranged a guys' night with Liam, Kristian, David and Robin.
They were at the tiny bar in the centre of town; The Rabbit Hole.
"Why aren't you drinking?" Liam asked his brother, scowling down at his glass of Coke.
"I have to drive later." Killian replied.
"Where the bloody hell are you driving to?" Robin chuckled.
"I'm picking someone up from a party." He sighed, taking a large gulp of his drink.
He knew he couldn't name Emerys without effectively telling Kristian and David that he was in a relationship with a student, as they taught her too.
"Oh, this isn't your little mouse, is it?" Liam raised an eyebrow with a smirk pulling on the edges of his mouth.
"Aye." Killian replied, pulling out his phone.
He discreetly texted his brother.
'If you could not mention her name, that'd be great. She'd prefer I keep us quiet.' He sent.
Liam felt his phone vibrate in his back pocket and pulled it out, instantly reading the message.
He looked at Killian with an odd expression, but nodded.
"Little mouse, eh? She sounds adorable." Kristian smiled.
"Aye, she is, mate." Killian chuckled, sipping more of his drink.

The party was a chill one. Most of the girls were in the kitchen doing their usual gossiping, but Emerys had joined Will, Jefferson, Neal and Peter in the back yard for smokes.
Jefferson handed her his grinder, already packed with the bright green flower she so desperately craved at that point.
"Would the lady like to do the honours?" He asked.
"I'd just like to let you all know that I don't take joint rolling lightly and I am not responsible for any of you after you pass out. Okay?" She raised an eyebrow.
The boys chuckled.
"Whatever you say, Princess." Will winked.

"Jesus fucking Christ, Em. You weren't kidding." Neal giggled, slouching down in his seat.
They all glanced around at one another, seeing that the next person's eyes were just as squinty as the next.
"Fuck, we all look baked." Emerys laughed, breathing some of the delicious smoke in before passing it to Peter. "But I did warn you guys."
"Remind me never to doubt you again, girly." Will sniggered, bursting into fits of giggles, which only set the rest of them off.
"Man, I'm so hungry..." Jefferson mumbled, smacking his lips together.
"Jeffy's got the major munchies!" Emerys squealed excitedly, feeling awfully proud of her work.
"I'm not sure I can grasp the energy to get up..." He pouted.
"I know how you feel, my dude." Neal chuckled, leaning over to the patio table to grab his beer.
"Who wants another?" Emerys smirked.
They all looked at her like she was nuts.
"You have a tolerance from the Gods, Princess." Will raised an eyebrow.
Just then, she received a text.
'I don't mean to intrude or seem possessive or whatever, just texting to make sure everything's going okay x' Killian had sent.
Emerys smiled.
'Everything's good. I appreciate you checking in xx'
"Who's got your smile so bright?" Jefferson wondered.
Emerys looked up, seeing all four of them eyeing her.
"No one. I thought we were hungry. Let's go get something and then Jefferson can roll another." She said.
"Avoiding the question by distracting us with food. Must be someone good." Will chuckled. "But she's got a point, lads - time for food."

By the time midnight came around, the party had died down immensely.
Peter and Neal were crashed out on each other's shoulders on the couch, Jefferson had taken the spare bedroom and Will had stayed up to see everyone else out.
"You got a ride, Princess?" He asked Emerys.
"Yeah. He'll be here in ten minutes." She replied, curling up in one of the armchairs.
Her Whiskey tolerance had struck again, thankfully, so she was sober on the alcohol front, but the copious amounts of weed in her system left her feeling more chilled out than she had done in months. She welcomed the lazy feeling and the warm sensation on her temples.
"I can't believe you knocked Jefferson out. His tolerance is usually way up there. I think you're the first person in Storybrooke to ever out-smoke him." Will chuckled, sitting on the arm of her armchair.
"Well, when you've had most of your teenage years surrounded by Mardi Gras goers and some of the kids on my block, you know how to smoke the good shit." Emerys smiled, closing her eyes, contently.
"Don't go falling asleep on me, girly." Will raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not. I'm closing my eyes so I can zone out for a bit." She mumbled.
"Yeah, yeah." He smirked.

A few minutes later, Emerys' phone buzzed.
'I'm outside, kitten x' It read.
"Right, I'm out. I gotta give it to you, Scarlet. You know how to throw a party." She chuckled.
"See you on Monday, Princess." He smiled, bringing her in for a hug before seeing her to the door.
"See you Monday." She replied.
"How was the party?" Killian asked after she'd closed the car door.
"Surprisingly good." Emerys nodded.
"It smells it." He chuckled, leaning in to kiss her.
"Hey, Jefferson brought some weed. I couldn't turn it down." She shrugged, pecking his lips.
"I shan't oppose, love. It's legal now." He chuckled. "I'm glad you had fun."
"How was your evening?" Emerys raised an eyebrow.
"Torture. Robin and Krist-Mr Watkins grilled me about my 'mystery girl'." He sighed, unable to hide his smile.
"Oh yeah? How did that go?" She smirked.
"All they know is that you're amazing, quiet and Liam calls you little mouse. That's about it." He glanced at her briefly before turning back to the road.
"Amazing, am I?" Emerys chuckled. "Yeah, I suppose."
