After taking Emerys home to change into something a little more restaurant appropriate, Killian immediately got on to book a table at the best restaurant in town, then made his way home to shower and change, himself.
'Table for two at 7. Wear something as stunning as you. Pick you in two hours x' He texted her.
Emerys threw her phone onto her bed after smiling at what he'd sent, then practically skipped to her En Suite for a shower.
As the warm water trickled down her body, slithering its way into every crease and curve of her body, all she could think about were Killian's hands on her.

After her very steamy shower, Emerys wrapped herself in her sky blue towel and wondered over to her closet.
Her hands trailed along the various items of clothing until her fingers touched a particular dress she hadn't found the right occasion to wear for yet. But this felt perfect.
It was a black off-the-shoulder fitted gown with a large slit down the left leg.
Emerys slipped out of her towel, placing it in her laundry hamper, and slipped on the dress, zipping it up at the side.
"Shoes..." She mumbled to herself.
She found a pair of plain black heels and slipped them on, remembering how comfortable that particular pair was.
Moving onto the makeup, she did a soft smokey eye and left her lips untouched.
'Ready when you are, if you wanted to go for a walk by the lake first x' She texted Killian.
'Wow, I thought you'd be like most girls and take up the entire two hours haha. I'll be with you in 10 x' He soon replied.

The sound of a car horn alerted Emerys that Killian was outside.
She walked down the stairs with her phone in hand, seeing her parents curled up on the couch, watching a movie.
"Wow Em, you look stunning." Her mother smiled widely at the sight of her daughter.
"Thanks mom. I'll probably be out late tonight, so don't wait up." Emerys replied, reaching for the door.
"Hold up, young lady. Where are you going looking like that?" Her dad raised an eyebrow.
Emerys sighed heavily, looking down at her attire.
"What's wrong with this?"
"Nothing. You look amazing. I just want to know where my daughter will be and who she'll be with." Her dad pointed out.
"I'm having dinner with a friend." She said, not making an effort to maintain eye contact.
"Is this with the boy you told me about this morning?" Jocelyn smirked.
"Boy? What boy?" James gasped.
"It's nothing serious dad, don't get your panties in a twist. I only met him last night. We hung out at his house this afternoon and now he's taking me to dinner. He's waiting outside, so I have to go. I'll see you later." Emerys pulled on the door handle and smiled to them.
"Be safe. We love you!" Jocelyn called after her.
"Love you too!"

Emerys closed the front door and instantly spied Killian standing at the passenger door in an all-black suit with a smile painted beautifully on his face.
"You look stunning, love." He mumbled into her hair as he hugged her.
"You look rather dapper, yourself." She smirked. As they pulled away from each other, Killian opened the passenger door and held out his hand to help her in. "What a gentleman. Thank you." She said as she took the hand.
In the car, music was playing softly, but Emerys couldn't quite pinpoint the song.
The drive to the restaurant was further than she had anticipated as they were heading out of Storybrooke, heading towards Portland, Maine.
"I didn't know we'd be heading this far." Emerys raised an eyebrow.
"Oh shit, I didn't think about that... Is it a problem?" Killian looked way more worried than he needed to.
"No." She chuckled, placing a reassuring hand on his free one, which was situated on his thigh. "It's fine, I promise."

They parked outside a place called Hugo's, which looked extremely fancy for Emerys' tastes.
She couldn't help but feel like a princess.
The food was all gourmet, small portions but still managing to fill the pair to satisfaction.
The wine was fantastic, but as soon as Emerys caught a glimpse of the bill, she thought she was going to faint.
"Shit, Killian..." She whispered. "You didn't need to spend so much on me."
Killian chuckled. "You are more than worth it. Plus, if I could, I'd come here all the time. The food, the drink, the whole vibe is amazing and the owner's really nice. Plus, we had a good time, didn't we?" Emerys nodded. "Then the cost doesn't matter. If it makes you happy, on our second date, I'll order takeout and we can lounge in front of the TV."
Emerys raised an eyebrow, a smirk creeping onto her features. "What makes you think there'll be a second date?"
Killian took his card from his wallet and lightly threw it down onto the little platter that the bill had come on, unable to stifle a laugh.
"Oh, I know. How bold of me. Emerys Taylor: Would you do me the honour of joining me for a second date at a yet-to-be disclosed time?"
"I would love to, Killian." She smiled.

On the drive back, Emerys was under the impression that he would take her straight home, but Killian had other plans; made known when he turned a corner and parked up at the docks.
"Why are we here?" Emerys asked.
"Our date isn't finished yet, love." He replied, slipping a Bluetooth speaker into his suit jacket pocket as he got out of the car.
Emerys followed suit, joining hands with him as he led her down the dock.
He released her hand and placed the speaker down near the edge, switching it on before reaching for his phone.
"I remember you said you loved Fleetwood Mac." He said.
"I adore Fleetwood Mac." She corrected.
"Well, Miss Taylor. Would you dance with me?" Killian asked as Landslide played through the speaker.
He held out his hand to her, holding his other at the base of his back.
"Oh... I don't know how to dance..." She replied, awkwardly.
"It's easy. I'll teach you." He smiled. "Just follow my feet."
Emerys placed her hand in his as her other found its way to his shoulder. During this time, Killian placed his free hand in the centre of her back, pulling her close.
Together, without another word spoken, they danced along to the song, gently swaying peacefully to the raw, breath-taking vocals Stevie Nicks had blessed the world with.

All too soon, the song was over and the dock fell silent, though Emerys and Killian made no effort to part from one another's arms. They simply stood together, still swaying slightly to the soft waves coming in to hug the wooden pier they stood on.
But eventually, they parted.
"I've had a really amazing time tonight, Killian." Emerys smiled.
"Me too." He replied. "It doesn't have to end just yet, if you don't want it to. We could go back to mine, curl up and watch a movie or something?"
"Won't that just lead to a repeat of earlier?" Emerys raised an eyebrow, a smirk peeking through.
"Not if you don't want to." Killian shrugged.
"I don't have a change of clothes." She frowned. "Or my phone charger."
"We can stop off at yours on the way."
Emerys chuckled. "Alright."

After sneaking into the house and changing into comfier clothes and getting some pjs, charger, hairbrush and makeup, leaving a note and sneaking back out, they eventually reached Killian's house.
The evening was spent curled up on Killian's couch, watching Disney movies until the early hours of the morning when Emerys found herself drifting off to a peaceful sleep wrapped up in Killian's arms.
