A week later, Emerys found herself looking in her mirror, having dressed herself in her cap and gown.
Under that, she wore a rose red off-the-shoulder dress with a puffy skirt that fell to just above her knee. Her eye makeup was neutral and her lips matched her dress. With black heels and curled hair, her outfit was complete.
"Are you ready, darling?" Her mom asked, poking her head around the door. "Oh my God, you look amazing!"
Jocelyn practically skipped into the room, embracing her daughter in a choking hug.
"Thank mom, but it'll be my funeral dress if you don't let me breathe." Emerys giggled.
"I'm sorry pickle, I'm just so excited. My only baby is graduating!" Her mother whined, separating them.
"I'll be down in a minute, okay?" Emerys said.
"Alright. Be warned though, your dad's downstairs armed with his pro camera." Jocelyn chuckled before leaving the room.
Emerys turned back to the mirror and looked herself over once more, sighing.
Then, her phone buzzed on the dresser next to her.
'You've earned today. Have fun and good luck for the future.' Killian had said.
Emerys moved over to the bed, sitting on the end as she pressed the dial button.
"Em? Are you alright?" He answered.
"Yeah... I'm fine." She replied, simply.
"What's the matter?"
Emerys paused, knowing exactly what she was going to say, but nervous to say it.
"This is supposed to be our day." She said. "The day we could finally relax, take pictures together without having to password protect them, celebrate just the two of us, go on another trip to New Orleans or wherever we wanted to. The day we could finally be together for the world to see..."
There was silence on the line for a few seconds.
"It still could be, love..." Killian told her.
"I'm done feeling like this past year has been a mistake and a waste of time. It hasn't. Some of my best memories are with you, Killian and I'm not going to let one stupid little fight get in the way of that. I want you back. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you." She said.
"Meet me in my classroom in an hour." Was all he said before hanging up.

As soon as Emerys had gone downstairs, had pictures taken, had her mother squealing in her face again, they were in the car and on their way to the school.
Her father needed to get there early to oversee the preparations and make sure all the teachers and everything else was in order.
So Emerys had some time to kill.

She slipped past her parents as soon as Killian's car pulled up and made her way to his classroom, where she unlocked the door with the key he had made for her and sat in his desk chair in the dark.
A few minutes later, the door opened and the lights came on.
"Hello, love." Killian gave a small smile.
"Mr Jones." Emerys smirked.
"I do believe you're sat in my chair." Killian chuckled lowly.
"What can I say? It's a comfy chair." She shrugged. "At least now I know why you've always got your fine ass planted to it."
As Killian made his way to her at the front of the class, Emerys stood up, meeting him at the end of his desk.
He looked her over, admiring her divine beauty. His knuckles lightly brushed her left cheek as he shifted some hair out of the way.
"I love you too." He whispered. "And happy graduation."
Emerys grinned with delight, leaning up to meet his lips with hers; her arms wrapping themselves over his shoulders.
Killian couldn't help but push her back, causing her ass to rest on the desk top as their bodies melded together like clay.
Their kiss was hot and messy. Emerys wrapped her legs around Killian's thighs, pulling his crotch into her more, only fuelling the fire in their lust-filled nether regions.
"Killian..." Emerys mumbled against his lips.
"Mmm?" He purred.
"We have to stop before we get carried away." She giggled, pulling away from him.
"Aye. You're probably right, love." He smiled. "Let's save it for celebrating tonight."
"Agreed." Emerys smirked, placing a gentle peck on his lips. "I love you."
"I love you too."

As the names were being called out and students collected their certificates, Regina leaned over to Emerys.
"So you're looking happy again." She smirked.
"Killian and I patched things up." Emerys replied, clapping as the next name was called out.
"Finally. That month of depressed Em was torture." Zelena laughed.
"Regina Mills!" Emerys' dad called out from the podium.
"Yay!" Regina grinned, jumping up from her seat.
Emerys watched as her best friend walked up to James, accepted her certificate and shook his hand for a photo.
She chuckled as Regina did a small victory jump and practically skipped off the stage.
"Zelena Mills!" James called.
"Go get 'em, girl." Emerys laughed, giving Zelena a quick hug before she got up and joined her sister.
Emerys looked to the left of the stage where Killian sat. He was clapping, just like everyone else on the Football field, but he was only looking at Emerys.
She gave him a warm smile, earning herself one in return, along with a subtle wink.
"Not to pick favourites, but this next student is very close to my heart. My daughter, Emerys Taylor!" James grinned excitedly.
Emerys stood up, unable to keep the smile from her face as she walked down the centre aisle of student seating, giggling as she heard her mother wolf whistle.
She climbed the steps to the stage, suddenly feeling very self-conscious, though she hid it well.
As she walked past Killian, he mumbled a quick 'well done, love' under the noise of the claps.
"I'm so proud of you, munchkin." James said as she met him at the podium, giving his little girl a hug.
"Thanks dad." Emerys smiled, moving out of the hug to accept her certificate and shake his hand for the photo.

"So there's a party tonight and I know you're probably going to be having lots of make-up and celebratory kinky sex with Killian, but I thought I'd be polite and ask if you wanted to come anyway." Regina smirked.
"You're right 'Gina. I'll be having lots of kinky sex with Killian. But I appreciate the party offer." Emerys chuckled, nudging her best friend with her shoulder as her dad walked over.
"Hi girls. Congratulations." He smiled, wrapping an arm over Emerys' shoulder.
"Thanks Mr Taylor. You were way better than our last Principal." Zelena laughed.
"I'm sure you weren't friends with your last Principal's daughter though." James replied.
"Dad is it okay if I go with Regina and Zelena to a graduation party and stay the night?" Emerys looked up at him.
"Of course sweetie. You have fun." James kissed her hair.
"Oh, don't worry Mr Taylor. She'll be having loads of fun." Regina smirked.
"I don't even want to know the hidden meaning behind that. See you girls later." He chuckled before walking away.
"You crazy troglodyte, what the hell did you say that for?" Emerys shouted, unable to contain her giggles.
"Troglodyte? So you did pay attention in my classes. Good to know you've got the big words down." Killian's voice came from behind her.
"Jackass." Emerys grumbled.
"Just came to say congratulations Regina, Zelena and that Em, I'll meet you at the car, okay?" He smiled.
"Alright." Emerys nodded.
"Thanks Jones." Regina smirked. "Show my bestie a good time for me tonight."
Killian raised an eyebrow and chuckled as he walked away, shaking his head.

The next ten minutes was spent standing in front of her dad's camera with Regina, Zelena, Belle, Will, Jefferson, Neal, Emma and others for Emerys' memory book. After a few with her mother and then her father, she said her goodbyes and went with Regina to Killian's car.
"Three's a crowd you know." Killian smirked, leaning against the hood of the Chevelle.
"I was just walking her over so that her parents wouldn't ask questions. Now I'm leaving." Regina giggled. "See you guys later. Have fun!"
"Bye 'Gina!" Emerys smiled as the girl walked off to meet her sister.
Killian took Emerys' hand, causing her to look up at him.
"Ready to go, love?" He asked.
"Absolutely."
