"mama, how's Flaca?"
"you just have to ask about her huh?"
"I just love her, I wish you'd marry her"

"Flaca is just fine, she's right outside"
Maritza says holding her daughter in her arms
"where? where? I wanna see Flaca!"
Juliana says yelling trying to look towards the door but when she stretches her neck she immediately starts crying in pain
"why is everywhere hurt mami?"
she wails
"you got hurt baby, abuelo was driving and a drunk man hit abuelo's car and drove off"
Maritza says kissing Juliana to calm her down from her crying and then looks over to the doctor
"the girl wants her here, can she come now?"
Maritza says rolling her eyes to the back of her head annoyingly, the doctor simply nods and gestures the guards to remove Flaca's cuffs
after having her cuffs removed, Flaca hurries her way to the white bed and takes Juliana's hand in her own
"hey, sweet pea. How are you feeling?"
Flaca asks sitting on the edge of the bunk facing the other girls, Juliana scoots closer to her mother to provide more space for Flaca, she smiles hearing Flaca's nickname for her
"lay"
she simply says pulling Flaca towards her, Flaca listens and cautiously lays back
"how are you"
Juliana asks her, her blue eyes glistened as she looked at Flaca in awe
"I'm ok, just a little tired, what about you"
"ok, everywhere hurt but I'm ok now"
Juliana says cuddling between the two women that meant the whole world for her, putting both her hand which were being held by each one of them on her stomach making Flaca's fingers gently brush against Maritza's
"mami, when will I leave here?"
Juliana asks her eyes closed as she held tightly on both of the hands
"just a little more baby, abuelo is coming to visit you tonight so you won't be alone"
"wait you're leaving?"
Juliana says now panicking
"we have to go back"
Flaca answers instead of Maritza
"no, you can't I need you. both of you"
Juliana protests
"I know you need us baby, but we can't stay here, we have to go back to prison"
"can you just stay one night? please mami, please Flaca?"
Juliana says crying again not wanting to be without them
"sweet pea, that' not up to us, we don't have any control on this"
Flaca says her eyes glassy
