"I think girls are pretty, why do you ask?"
the Dentist answers honestly with a small smirk tugging onto her lips
"you think my mami is pretty?"
Juliana asks right away giving the woman no chance to finish her sentence, she looks at her with one of her eyebrow jerked up
"yes, she's very cute. Where is this heading?"
"somewhere, hopefully"
Juliana replies giving her a sweet smile that melted Flaca's heart
"so you like like girls?"
"I like like everyone, how about that?"
Flaca answers gently booping Juliana's nose, the small girl was confused
"how does that work?"
she asks curious
"it means that I'm gender neutral, it means that I don't care about the gender, if it's a girl or a boy, if they make me happy then they just do"
Flaca explains the simplest way she could
"so you don't mind that my mami is a girl?"
"no, she's my friend why would I mind that"
"a very cute friend"
Juliana points out pursing her lips making Flaca scoff
"you don't have any cute friends?"
Flaca asks
"I have you"
Juliana says smiling revealing her white tiny pearls
"awhh stop being cute that's enough now"
Flaca says giving her a pair of pouty lips
"so would ya think of, I don't know giving mami a chance?"
Juliana says now breaking eye contact and looking down to the floor, Flaca lets out a long breath and crouches down so she's eye level with the little girl
"why do you want mami to get a girlfriend so badly?"
Flaca asks quietly, and that was all the little girl could take, without even wanting she ends up crying on the woman's shoulder
"hey baby, no. what's going on?"
Flaca says picking up the crying toddler, Juliana covers her face with both her hands trying to hide the tears
"hey talk to me"
the tall woman says sitting down on a chair close by with Juliana now on her lap
"I just really love her, and I want her to be the happiest cause she's been through a lot. and she'll be the happiest if she finds someone who loves her endlessly, but they never do, nut when they know that I exist"
Juliana says feeling guilty for ruining her mother's relationships
"she will find someone don't worry about it, she's amazing people would be crazy to not take a chance on her"
Flaca says kissing Juliana's head
"that's the thing no one misses out but then they leave her when she tells them she's a mother, I wish I wasn't here sometimes, she would have so many less problems without me she just doesn't admit it"
Juliana says pushing her face deeper into Flaca's chest
"ok, honey don't ever say that especially in front of your mama, cause I can assure you that nothing will hurt her more then knowing that her baby girl doesn't want to be here because of her"
