drunky peck part 2

morning soon came around and Jackie was laying awake in her bed as her best friend half spooned her. After a few minutes of thinking about the night before Jackie's phone goes off, she looks over to see who's calling and huffs when she sees that Rebekah, Laya's mother was calling. She leaves a small peck on Diane's cheek and gets out of bed careful to not wake the Colombian woman up.

"hey bekah"

Jackie greets her cousin flatly as she rolled her eyes

"Hey J"

Rebekah greeted back making Jackie cringe as she hated when anyone that isn't Diane called her 'J'

"so uhm Laya's behind the door, we had to leave as we were about to miss our flight, you live in apartment 4 right?"

the mother asks making Jackie pop her eyes out

"you left an 10 month baby girl behind a door just so you don't miss your flight?"

Jackie says quickly getting out of her apartment and running towards the elevator

"yeah it's work Cruz she's just behind the door it's fine"

Rebekah giggles noticing Jackie's voice laced in panic

"bitch fuck work you don't just leave a baby behind a door cause of a fucking flight, AND I LIVE IN APARTMENT 9"

Jackie says running down the stairs as the elevator was taking too much time

"oh my god, run!"

bekah orders her

"the fuck do you think I'm doing?"

Jackie snaps at her letting out a sigh of relief when she sees her second cousin sleeping in her baby pink stroller

"is she there?"

the mother asks calmly

"yes!"

Jackie says a tear leaving her cheek realizing how much they didn't care about their own daughter

"how long has she been here? it's freezing"

Jackie asks

"not long, an hour and something. she has a blanket"

Rebekah says in an annoyed tone

"anyways I have to go I have a client on the phone"

she says and instantly hangs up

"fucking perra"

Jackie curses under her breath as she pressed the elevator button and patiently waited for it to open as she tried to calm her breath down.

she enters her apartment to find the small woman awake with her face covered by her own hands

"morning"

Jackie gently says smiling

"oh my god why do you have to shout?!"

Diane whines dragging the words

"great, 2 beautiful babies to take care of"

Jackie mutters under her breath as she put the stroller next to the bed and went to get another blanket for Laya who was still asleep, after placing it around the small baby she got in bed next to Diane who was still whining

"what the fuck happened yesterday?"

Diane says rolling over and nuzzling her nose in Jackie's neck to hide her face from the sunlight

"a lot"

Jackie breathed out putting an arm around her best friend, Diane simply groans in response
