"yes hi, I'm calling to confirm my appointment today at 5? With doctor Gonzales? Yes yes, uh Juliana Fernanda Ramos, yes just a check up. Ok, thank you"
Maritza says as she talked to the receptionist on the phone standing in the middle of her apartment smiling at a wall as she did
After hanging up she walks into her bathroom to find her 6 year old daughter washing her own teeth
"Nice mami? White?"
The little girl says going on her tiptoes as she reveals her mother a small set of freshly cleaned teeth, Maritza smiles at her proudly
"So white baby, good job how about you go put some socks on honey? I washed the minnie mouse pair"
Maritza says as she ran one hand through her daughter's wavy brown hair
"Okay, is your toothy ok?"
The small girl asks
"Getting better, still hurts a little. I'll be fine go get your socks cause we're gonna be late babygirl"
The small girl nods her face a little concerned but she leaves and makes her way to her bedroom to get her socks while her mother opened the medicine chest and popped two painkillers for tooth aching in her mouth and swallowed them with a cup of water.
After finishing readying up they're now on Maritza's car, the little girl in the backseat putting her seatbelt on and Maritza looking at her do so with the most beautiful smile on her face
"You ready to go see your favorite dentist?"
Maritza asks
"Yes! I love her so much she's the best, I missed her hugs"
Juliana jumps in excitement making Maritza let out a small giggle
"bet she's gonna be just as happy to see her favorite patient"
Maritza says as she starts the car's engine and starts driving
"and I bet she's gonna be very happy to see you, I saw the way she looks at you, you know"
Juliana says jerking up both her eyebrows, Maritza scoffs
"I think she likes you"
Juliana continues smiling widely seeing her mother slightly blush
"What are you talking about"
"All I'm saying is that you would make a very cute couple, she's nice and funny just like you"
Juliana says shrugging her shoulders innocently
"Girl I swear to God, since I told you that I like girls every woman we know likes me and would make a good partner"
Maritza says putting on her dark shaded sunglasses
"I just want you to get a girlfriend"
Juliana says letting her head rest against the backseat
"Why you tired of me?"
"No, I'm tired of seeing you upset though, and seeing you cry. I always try my best to make you happy and show you as much love as possible but I m can't give you the kind of love you need so I'm literally useless, the least I can do is help you find a good girlfriend who will love you like that, and that girl is my beautiful dentist"
Juliana admits hugging her mother from behind by wrapping her hands around her mother's neck, Maritza leaves pepper kisses on her daughter's tiny arms can't help but smile sadly
"I'll be fine gorgeous, I just have some bad days sometimes, and I'm not gonna lie I wouldn't hate the thought of being in a relationship but it's kinda hard to find a girl that is ready to commit fully to one person"
