                                              It was the year 1987. The senior class at Tree Hill high just graduated in June it was now the end of August right before the kids left for college. 
                          An ex cheerleader named Karen Roe walked up to her star basketball player boyfriend Dan Scott and his brother Keith. "Hey honey...I have to talk to you."  Karen said whilst giving Dan a kiss on the cheek. Dan looked over at Keith for permission and Keith nodded at him then walked away. "What's up Karen?" Dan asked in a concerned tone. "I'm Preg.....nant." She managed to stutter out. 
"But I'm going to Duke." 
                          "Dan I know your going to Duke."
 "Karen I can't deal with this right now. We have to break up. It's for the best." Dan said then turned away and left.
