The next morning Haley is walking down the street to school. As she was looking over her notes for one of the people she tutors she hears a sound coming from a car.
"Hey... Need a ride?" She looked up from her binder to see Lucas Scott her best friends half brother. "No im good. And even if I did I wouldn't get one from you of all people." Haley said as she started her walk again. "Woah. Feisty today aren't we. " Lucas looked at her with a puzzling look. "Just get out of my way." Haley said as she continued to walk and get out of Lucas's view. "What's up with her?" Lucas questioned to himself. "We haven't even met before. I just thought she was hot." He started the engine of his car and continued his drive to school.
Nathan walked into the school and over to his locker. A few seconds later he saw the beautiful face of Haley. "Nathan Eugene Scott you will not believe what just happened!! Your completely annoying brother just hit on me on the way to school and didn't even know who I was!"
Nathan looked at her with a puzzling look but then his face turned red and Haley could tell that the famous Scott temper was about to blow. "He did what!?!? He is such a spoiled brat. Just brushing off you like your nothing but then hitting on you when it suits him!! Did he ever bother to learn your name Hales! Wait... Of course he didn't he doesn't give a damn!" Nathan looked like he was about to blow up after his rant. But then Haley hugged him. Unbeknownst to both of them Lucas was on the other side of the hallway lockers staring at the sight...
