Tony squinted at Quill and looked him up and down. Quill was sitting on the edge of an examination table, hands folded neatly in his lap. There were machines all around him, waiting to be hooked up. Tony wanted to just go for it but Bruce insisted on getting a thorough understanding of Quill's background first.

"So you're from Earth?" Tony asked.

"I'm from Colorado," Quill corrected.

"Right, so that's Earth," Tony said flatly. Bruce, sitting on the lab table beside Tony's insanely tall stool, scribbled something into his notes.

Quill scoffed. "I knew that."

"Uh-huh. And you got kidnapped?"

"When I was like seven by a blue dude named Yondu who acted as my dad for my whole life but sucked total ass as a person and raised me to be a criminal," Quill summarized, Banner writing furiously to keep up. "He's dead now and also so is my real dad."

"Who's your real dad?"

"Well he was a god apparently and he got with my mom and then she had me and then he fucking killed her, which sucked, so fuck him. Then I finally met him and thought he was cool so we were friends for a little bit but then he told me he killed my mom so I killed him because he was trying to kill me."

"I'm sorry, you said he was a god?"

"Yeah. Super all-powerful type 'a guy, created his own planet and stuff."

"So you're a... a demi-god?"

"I mean... I guess. But my dad sucks so I don't really wanna claim that part of me, you know?"

"Sure.... But, that means you aren't human, right?"

"I guess? To be fully honest with you, I have no fuckin' idea."

"Banner?" Tony asked, turning to his friend. Bruce shook his head.

"Bloodwork first, Tony. You know the procedure."

"Ugh, fine."

"Alright Peter, I'm going to draw some blood and Tony here is going to ask you a few more questions."

"Sure." Bruce helped Quill out of his jacket and found the right vein, then tied a tourniquet around his bicep. He disinfected Quill's arm and pulled on some latex gloves.

"You're not allergic to latex, right?" Bruce asked before he touched Quill's arm.

"Nope. Go for it, man."

"Alright, good." Tony moved the vials within Bruce's reach and grabbed the notepad and pen, ready to begin his questions.

"Alright, Starlord. What is your full name?"

"Peter Jason Quill."

"Good. Just checking, but you're a dude, right? Full human anatomy?"

"All penis in the pants, man. Nothing alien down there," Quill confirmed.

"Nice. Okay, date of birth?"
