Everyone was crowding the living room. Clint was perched on the arm of the couch, where Thor, Bruce, Steve, and Tony were sat. Natasha sat on the floor in front of Bucky's chair and Matt was occupying the spot next to her. Wanda was sitting on the other arm of the couch. Wade stood half-behind the chair, and his face remained completely blank. Vision was sitting cross-legged one foot above the floor in front of Wade. On the other side of the chair, Sam Wilson stood with his arms crossed. Next to him was Scott Lang, who was leaning on the chair and looking far too tired. Needless to say, Pietro was highly intimidated.

"Okay. Well, I don't know exactly where he is, but I do know he is in one of three warehouses. They're just outside the city, and they aren't huge, so it won't take long to search," he announced. "I was running by there and got shot at. I don't know which one it came from though."

"We'll split up," said Steve. "It'll be faster."

"Do we kill the people if we find them?" Scott wondered. Everyone looked at him.  "What? I'm just asking."

"No. Knock them out though. We need to question them," answered Sam.

"Yeah," agreed Steve. "Sadly, we need them alive."

They split up into four groups; Steve, Tony, Bucky, and Sam; Clint, Wanda, and Pietro; Natasha, Matt, Vision, and Scott; Thor and Bruce. They three larger groups, headed by Steve, Clint, and Natasha, were to search the warehouses. Thor and Bruce were on medical assistance/lookout duty, which means Bruce was to patch up whoever got hurt and Thor was to fly the perimeter and make sure nobody was leaving. Wade refused to be in a group, and insisted on going solo. They did give him a comm, simply because they didn't want him to do something stupid and get hurt.

They were split up already, the groups waiting outside of their designated warehouse. "Everyone on?" Steve asked. He heard a chorus of "yes"s through the comms, but didn't hear one voice- the voice of the person he was most worried about. "Wade," he said.

"Yeah," came Wade's mumbled reply.

"Alright. Head in." The comms went silent and Steve led the group into the warehouse. From there they split up, Steve staying with Tony, just in case.

In the next warehouse over, Pietro was already running. Clint was sticking with Wanda  and she was moving things with her scarlet magic. Clint was peeking around corners and making sure it was clear before he let her walk through.

In the third warehouse, they were having a jam. Scott was staying regular sized for now and Matt was chatting quietly with Vision. Natasha was keeping an eye on them all and making sure they stayed on task. They might not know Peter well, but if this kid was gone forever because of them, they wouldn't live to see the funeral.

Wade was quiet. He was too quiet, actually. His mind was occupied and he moved as stealthy as was possible for him. He didn't make a single noise as he slipped into the warehouse. He was in the same one as Clint, Wanda, and Pietro, but he had a different idea.

Before they left the Tower, Wade was looking up the sewer layout of the area. While he was searching his maps, he saw something on one that didn't match up with the same spot on the other one. One map showed a box-like area, while the other showed nothing. He was extremely suspicious and decided he needed to check it out.

Wade pulled the map out of one of the pockets on his belt and squinted at it. Looking around, he noticed the exact room the entrance was in. He walked through a door a few feet to his right and saw the sewer grate in the ground. Tucking the map away, he walked over and hefted the grate up, sliding it over. He looked down into the dark and gagged- the smell wasn't exactly pleasant. He grabbed the small flashlight from his pocket and clicked it on.
