I'm basing this story off of The Outsiders book, but the characters look like they do in the movie. I would also suggest only reading this if you've read or watched the Outsiders. And I'll try to keep the dialogue as how they speak. I'm so used to writing formally so this be tough!
(The main character's name is Aiden and she is my fav OC)
My name is Aiden. I'm 16 years old. I have medium brown hair that goes down to my mid- back. It's very curly and hard to manage. I usually have to use lots of products in it to keep it the way I like. I have green eyes that look almost grey. My height is 5'7.
I'm an outcast Soc if that makes any sense. I don't act tuff like the others, and I like breaking rules. I may dress like an angel, but honey, I'm the devil in disguise. Applause to you if you got that.
And one more thing, I don't have any female friends. Or friends in general. I've only had two boyfriends in my life- one I left behind when I moved, and the other turned out to be a jerk. He broke up with me 3 months ago for some cheerleader chick. Besides, he was a couple years older anyways. It was very awkward for me.
I was sat on the swings at the park. No one was around, mostly because I wasn't on my turf. During the daytime, only young kids and older adults came there. Most of the others were at school or work, and they don't got time to have fun.
I sat in the relaxing silence. The only noise that could be heard was the rocking back and forth of the old swing. I felt like reading a book, but my only option was my textbooks from school. The reason why, was because I had skipped last period. Only 'cause I felt like it. No way would I tell my parents.
Suddenly, the vvvrroooom of a car was heard. I looked up to see that stupid blue Mustang parking itself in the lot. I rolled my eyes and got up. Bob and Randy got out of the car, 3 other friends followed them from behind.
They strolled over to me, pride in their footsteps. "What're you guys doing here?" I asked, annoyance clearly heard in my voice.
"We're gonna teach you a lesson. I know it was you who stole my History book. What were you going to do with it? Keep it for yourself? For your little collection?" Bob asked menacingly.
I glared at him. "Get over it! We broke up 3 months ago! And who's fault was that? Yours! Now stop whining like a baby, 'cause you're not getting me back." I shot.
The other boys went silent. If they did so much as even smile, Bob would've had their heads in. He smirked at me as he grabbed my wrist.
"And who gives you the right to talk to me like that, young lady?" The Bob whispered in my ear.
I could smell the alcohol on his breath. I knew he was dangerous when he got like that.
I gulped and looked around the park. If anything at all happened, no one would be there to help me. And I'm not the strongest of people, either.
