I was laying in the park. The same spot where Bob and his friends harassed me. I got up and looked around. It was dark and cold, and the only sound that was heard, was the soft trickling of the fountain.

"Hello?" I called out. "Anyone here?" There was no answer. What was I doing laying in the park all by myself? I then heard a snap behind me. I sharply turned my head around to see nothing but my breath in the cold air.

"Who's there?" I quietly asked. Someone came out of the shadows. It was Bob. He was drunk again. This time he was alone, but he still seemed intimidating. "Hey! We didn't finish our conversation the other day." He whispered menacingly.

When I first met him, he was different. He changed now for sure. When I was dating him, he was kind. He was polite and very respectful. But there was something about him, now.

Bob turned angry all of a sudden. He would get annoyed at you for the littlest things and he would expect you to forgive him. He would stop talking to his friends and I for days at a time. He seemed... off. Like he wasn't himself.

Now, Bob was stood right in front of me, smirking at me dangerously. I backed away, glaring at him and trying (but clearly failing) to stand my ground. I bumped into the fountain. He put his hands on my waist and I shifted away.

"Don't touch me." I firmly spoke. He grinned at me. "When did you become Miss Feisty?" He asked. "I've always been feisty." I stated.

He shook his head and clicked his tongue. "No... I remember when we first met. You were shy and scared. You always had your nose in a book and your main focus was your classes. What happened to the sweet girl you used to be?"

(I shot an uno reverse card at him) I asked him a similar question. "Yeah, and what happened to you? You used to be different as well..."

I saw a look of remembrance in his eyes, but it went away quicker than a blink. "It doesn't matter now. We've both changed. Haven't we, Greaser?"

I thought about Johnny and Dally and the rest of the gang. My friends. My greaser friends. "There's nothing wrong with my friends..." I trailed off. "Nothing wrong? Do you know what they've done? Have you even seen who they are?"

Bob pushed me back and I screamed. I almost fell into the fountain behind me, but I kept my arms on the edge to support me. "Do you even use your eyes, Aiden? Look at them!" I shook my head violently. "Look at them? Look at you! No body's perfect, Bob! So shut up and go to hell."

He knocked me sideways to the ground and I rolled on the floor. My head hit a rock and I gasped. The last thing I heard him say was, "Your Greaser friends have had it."

I shot up and looked around. I felt a warm, comforting hand on my shoulder. "Aiden, are you okay? What happened?" It was Johnny. He also seemed very worried.

"Shoot, sorry kid. I forgot." I turned behind me to see Two-Bit with a guilty expression on his face. Forgot what? Johnny nodded his head and kept his eyes shut. "Hey, Two-Bit." He spoke weakly.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Johnny asked worriedly. I nodded my head and looked down at my knees. "Just a bad dream, that's all." Johnny pulled me closer to him and we cuddled, comfortable in each other's embrace.

Two, who wasn't paying attention, started flirting with the girls and making no sense as he spoke. I whispered to Pony. "Is he drunk?" Both boys heard me and shrugged their shoulders. "Probably."

"Brother, you're a sharp one. Where'd you two ever get to be picked up by a couple o' greasy hoods like Pony and Johnny?" Two-Bit asked. I glared at him and he raised his eyebrow at me. Johnny wasn't picking no one up today.

"We actually picked them up. We're really Arabian slave traders and are thinking about shanghaiing them. They're worth at least 10 camels a piece." Marcia stated wittily.

"Five. They don't talk Arabian, I don't think. Say somethin' in Arabian Johnnycake." I laughed at the nickname and looked to Johnny.

"Aww cut it out! Dally was botherin' 'em and when he left they wanted us to sit with them to protect them. Against wise-crackin' greasers like you, probably."

"Speakin' of Dal. Where is he, anyways?" Two asked. "He went out to hunt some action or somethin'. He left when Johnny told him to stop botherin' the girls." I said.

I looked at Johnny admiringly. The others started talking about some other crap that I didn't care about, and Johnny and I started our own conversation. He talked more than usual, so I was proud that I got him to open up. It started out light, but the conversation got deeper as we went on.

"Ever since I met you, you've kept on surprising me more and more. What's it gonna be next?" I asked Johnny, smiling. I was referring to the standing up to Dally. He shrugged his shoulders bashfully. "I don't know. I guess you'll just have to wait and find out."

I laughed and glanced at the movie to see what was goin' on. Some guy was having a fight with some other short scrawny dude. My smile dropped faintly. "Hey... Johnny?" I asked quietly.

He turned his attention towards me. "Yeah?" I sighed and spoke, "What did Two-Bit mean when he...forgot? You seemed really spooked when he startled us." Johnny fiddled with his thumbs.

"The Socs. Bob... the guy with the rings?" I nodded my head for him to continue. I tried to think back to my dream, but I couldn't seem to remember it clearly.

"He an' his friends jumped me once. T- they" A few tears slid down Johnny's cheeks. "They hurt me read bad, Aiden. He cut up my f- face a whole lot. They did real bad things and-" He tilted his head back and let more tears fall.

I shook my head sadly and pulled Johnny in for a hug

I shook my head sadly and pulled Johnny in for a hug. Seeing him cry, made me tear up as well. I hated to see him like this. I felt like there was nothing I could do for him. After all, you can't get rid of the past.

I clued in. "So, when you saved me that day... you knew him? You knew what you were getting into?" I asked. It was more of a statement, really. I loosened the hug a bit. Johnny nodded his head and swallowed the lump in his throat.

He smiled tearfully at me. "But it was worth it. I got to meet you." I returned the smile. I was shocked when Johnny cupped my cheeks and brought his soft lips to my chapped ones. I gasped and returned the kids.

His hands pushed my hair behind my neck while I pulled him closer to me by his shoulders. His lips tasted like smoke, soda and chocolate all at the same time. (Not Sodapop, you weird people!)We had almost forgotten that the others were still there. We heard Two-Bit whistling and we quickly pulled our lips apart.

I realized how I was sitting, now and how Johnny was holding me. My eyes widened and so did Johnny's. We went back to how we were sitting before the kiss, though we were a little more separated. "Woo hoo! Get some, Johnny!" Two-Bit teased. I immediately felt like a tomato.

Johnny lit a cigarette and pretended nothing happened, but we could all see the huge blush across his face. I wouldn't be surprised if I had one, too.

Aww they kissed! That was so cute to write! K go read the next chapter please! I hope you enjoyed this one!
