The Thing About Soulmates || Tony Stark

for making this very long and annoying, I present to you a tweet that absolutely broke my heart and I hope you all feel the same (if not we need to have a lil chit-chat)

Unfortunately, this is not an update. Believe me, I know how much it sucks to get a notification that someone updated a book to find it's just a letter from the author. So, if any of you can relate, I am so sorry to disappoint you. This is not an update, but I wanted to let you all know why I have not updated recently.

I uploaded the first few chapters in a span of three days. This was because all of those chapters had been pre-written about a week before I published it. I was going to wait until I finished the book, but I just couldn't contain my excitement. I had not seen many soulmate stories for Tony, so I felt like I wanted to write one so people (or myself....) could have another soulmate story. I know this sounds really weird, but I low-key love soulmates stories, especially for avengers, and ESPECIALLY for Tony, and i just felt like Tony wasn't getting the love that he deserves. I know this story may suck, but I have high hopes for it. 

Anyways, I published all of the ones that had already been written because I just couldn't contain myself (as mentioned above). Now, I have to write them and I don't have any saved up for when I haven't uploaded in a while (when I get the chance, I will restock them). And I haven't had the time to write because I have been so busy. I am still in school, which means that exams are right around the corner and teachers are trying to cram everything into our heads in the last few days before summer (this week alone I've had six math assignments, an english essay, a rat dissection, and a fifty four word vocab due). And I do participate in extra-curricular activities, so I'm not home that much. Not to mention that my friends and I have made plans for almost every day the past two weeks and we have some plans next week as well. Today is the first day that I've actually been home before sunset. 

So, I took this time to write this out. And yes, I know I could have written out a chapter, but it adds a lot onto my plate that I really did not want to deal with, so I just quickly wrote this explanation instead (and after this I have to finish that english essay). Let's just say I haven't gotten much sleep the past few weeks.

Once it's officially summer, I feel like I will be able to write more because I won't have to deal with school. But this will not be my number one priority. I've been apart of stan!twitter and instagram and wattpad and whatever else there is for awhile, and along the way I've learned that you lose what's real in your life to whatever is on here when it becomes the most important thing for you. 

So, yes, I will be updating, and yes, I will try my best to write, but it'll just be done in my free time. This is kind of like a hobby to me I guess (?) i'm not really sure. 

Okay, moral of this 500 word authors note was to say I'm sorry for not updating and I will try when I can, but it won't be super fast. You all will just have to work with me.

And thank you for 100 reads for just four chapters!! I don't think it's possible for anyone to know how great this makes me feel. Thank you for reading the few short chapters that have started this story, and I hope you will keep reading for the many more that will come.

I really truly do love feed-back though, so don't be afraid to tell me how I'm doing and what you want to see. And don't be afraid to just comment the whatever the heck you want, if something reminds you of something else or if you have a joke, just feel free to speak your mind.

Oh and I would love some recommendations for stories on here! So if you have any recommendations for the avengers, don't be afraid to tell me! especially soulmate ones lol. 

Anyways, sorry for this getting really long and out of hand. I hope you stick with me for this story, I have a good feeling about:)
