"So let me get this straight-"

You nodded, waiting for them to continue. You had long since left the coffee shop, the place holding too many memories from the past to talk about the future. You were now in the middle of Central Park walking around a fountain that was filled with enough coins to pay off a decent chunk of your student loans. There was a chai tea latte in your hands- courtesy of the person standing next to you- and it was the only thing keeping you warm.

"- Tony Stark is your soulmate?"

"Yep."

"And you are now living with him?"

"Yep," it was a bit more complicated than that, but you couldn't be bothered to explain.

It was silent for a few moments and you knew it wouldn't be long before you heard the well-known squeal of your best friend.

"How could you not tell me, [Y/N]! Do you know how crazy this is?"

Your mouth fell into an 'o' shape. You looked to your left, and then your right, to see if anyone heard the same thing you did.

"Do I know how crazy it is? Bea, I'm living it!" she stopped bouncing on her heels to look you in the eye as if to say 'you know what I mean.' You can't stop your eyes from rolling, but you continue. "I just found this out last night, my brain hasn't even processed it completely yet."

"How is my soulmate Tony Stark? How is this supposed to work when he is known for being the bachelor of New York? You know how many times I've woken up with marks from his late night expeditions," you shivered, an involuntary reaction to those memories. "Do you really expect him to change his ways just because I come waltzing into his life?"

She rubbed your arm, trying to get you to calm down. If you went on getting yourself worked up like this, you would most likely have a panic attack, and that was not the best idea.

"[Y/N]," she paused. "You need to calm down." You nodded, taking a deep breath.

1,

2,

3,

you counted in your head, before you exhaled.

"Good." She rubbed your arm once more before letting go. "I know this is confusing right now, but you will figure it out. The universe has a plan for all of us, and for you, that plan includes Tony Stark."

The two of you began walking again, moving away from the fountain and towards the edge of the park. "If it's meant to be, which it is," she nudged you, "everything will work out. Tony will change his ways, you two will fall happily in love, and you will live your best life possible."

You giggled, amused by how crazy your life is. "I can't believe Tony Stark is my soulmate."

"I know right," she laughed. "I always thought it would be me who married the brilliant, insanely attractive, filthy rich millionaire."

"Oh, shut up," you teased, shoving her a bit.

--

You continued to banter as you reached the gates of the park. You looked up at the sign that read 'Central Park' before taking the step outside. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Bea looking around at the wonderful city she used to call home.

"I missed this place," she sighed, bending down to pet a dog walking by.

"Then come back." She stood up and raised an eyebrow at you.
