I'm starting to think that maybe I'm meant to die. That maybe I'm not supposed to be alive in the first place. I'm nothing more than a glitch in the system. I serve no real purpose or use. It makes more sense for me to die off then to be alive.
But why am I still living?
Maybe I do serve a purpose after all. Maybe I was created for the purpose of being with Blue.
"Hey?" Blue is hovering over me. I've fallen asleep in Alphys office. She was typing away at her computer, taking notes about me and the crack in my skull.
"Hey." I rubbed my eyes a few times, propping myself up against the bed.
"How are you?" Blue looked concerned. It only made sense.
"I feel fine." I assured him.
"Are you sure?" He grabbed my chin, rotating my head so that he could see the back.
I fretted his hand away. "I'm fine."
"I think the crack got wider." He informs Alphys, who doesn't show any sign of acknowledgement beside I brief nod.
"I don't even feel it."
Alphys spins around in her chair. "Th-that's what I'm confused about." She states. "You should be withering in pain right now, but pain just doesn't seem to be a part of your code."
She walks over to the bed, and I crane my neck to let her look at the crack. "Bones are supposed to be able to repair themselves, but now that I've found out you don't have a algorithm to make you feel pain, I'm worried that the same thing will be true about your ability to repair wounds." I nod. It only partly makes sense.
"Are you saying he might not live?" Blue asks, fear crossing his eyes. I can't imagine the dark paths his mind is wondering down right now. I want to pull him out. To let him know that I'll be alright, but I'm not entirely sure of that myself.
"I'm saying that he might not be able to repair himself. I'm trying to work on something that will fix it for him."
"So you can fix me?" I ask.
Alphys nods. "It may take a while though, I'm not sure how long."
"Alright." I say. Alphys turns to Blue.
"Make sure he gets enough rest, and that he takes it easy from now on." She advises Blue.
"He an walk around a bit, but no doing anything too dangerous." Blue nods.
"I'll take good care of him." Blue says proudly.
"And get some rest, you." She points to ms before leaving the room.
"She's right, you should get some rest, Error." I huddle over, making room for Blue on the bed.
"Only if you stay here and cuddle with me." I pat the spot beside me. He blushes a bright blue tone before crawling into bed beside me, and wrapping his arms around my waist.
Everything fades to black as I'm taken into the realm of dreams, were all is not exactly as it seems.
