Blue is crying. Tears are falling down the side of his cheeks, and his sobs wake me from my sleep. I turn to face him.
"Blue?" I ask, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.
He looks up towards me, slightly surprised that I woke up. "S-sorry for waking you." He stutters out, still crying.
"It's fine." I scoot closer to him on the bed. I've been staying in his house for the time being that I'm in the underground. I figured that since we were dating, we might as well, and he agreed that it was better than having one of us have to sleep on the couch, or me going to a strange hotel.
"What's wrong?" I ask, putting a gentle hand on his shoulder, concerned for how he's doing.
"I'm fine." He moved away from me, turning away from my grasp.
"Please," I beg him. "Just tell me what's wrong."
He shakes his head. "It's nothing." He replies. It only makes me more concerned for him. Clearly, he won't stop crying, and he won't let me try to help him. I don't know why he's doing this suddenly.
I know that it isn't nothing. "Please Blue."
His eyes just fill with more tears, until he's crying up a river. He wipes his tears on the sheets. "I'm not supposed to t-tell you." He tries to talk through the tears. "I'm n-n-n-not-" he stops mid sentence, the tears taking over him.
I'm afraid that he won't tell me. That he's keeping some dark secret from me, or maybe he thinks I might not be here for him. The crack in my head is starting to ache again.
He turns his back to me, and I want to reach out to him again, but I know that it's probably not the time. I just want to help him, but I don't know how. I don't know what I can do.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" I ask him quietly.
He shakes his head. "I'll be fine." He replies, wiping a few tears from his cheeks. "Don't worry about me."
That's when I feel myself getting more faint, and I realize that this feeling is another memory coming on.
Slowly, my eyelids flutter shut, and the world around me fades to black. I can hear Blue calling out my name just before I pass out.
