"In order for you to be a full character in this, I need to actually finish you off." Ink explains as se sit around his kitchen table. "When I was creating you, you were never actually fully finished before I gave up on making you, therefore, that why you're all like-" Ink gestures to my glitchy state. "That." I nodded. Things were finally starting to make more sense. I don't know why Blue couldn't have just told me from the beginning that this guy was basically god. That would have made things I lot more simple for me to understand.
"So you have to finish me?" Error asked.
Ink nodded. "Yeah. But there's just one problem."
Blue raised his eyebrows. "And that is?"
"The fact that I don't quite know how."
Ink replied. "I didn't have the inspiration to finish him, so I gave up on making him. Only I didn't know he was already alive."Blue sighed. "Can't you just continue making him, and instead of leaving him an outline, leave him with the same graphics he has now. You know, just more solid."
I glitched a few times. I found it happening more and more over the past few days than ever before. It was probably just because I was getting closer and closer to my death bed.
Ink put his hand on his chin, deep in thought. "Well I suppose that might work, but if something goes wrong, you have to be ready to face the consequences." He said turning to me. "You got that?"
I nodded quickly. "Of course. Whatever you do will probably be better than my other option, which is eventual death."
Ink sighs. "Come on then, let's go to my studio."
We followed him down a few steep flights of stairs down into a basement. I couldn't imagine actually working in a place that looked as grim as this but judging from the look on his face, Ink actually felt quite at home here. The whole place was riddled with cobwebs and spiders constantly spinning them. On the opposite side of the room, there was a canvas, and a few old pieces sitting right beside it. Ink grabbed a paint brush out of his apron.
"You ready?" He looked at me, brush in hand."
I nodded. "I think so." I said, although I still wasn't entirely sure.
"I'm going to paint you in." Ink began to explain. "And when you wake up again, you'll be a real character. You'll live in the same world as Blue."
I nodded, and looked over at Blue on more time. "I'm ready." I said, and the process began.
