"Blue?" I ask, looking up to see his face hovering over me.

He smiles down happily, looking very relieved. "Last night, you didn't wake up again." Blue says frantically. "I thought something had happened to you." He explain. "I took you to Alphys and she said that the crack in you skull had gotten a bit bigger."

"It did?" I try to feel the back of my skull, only to find it covered in soft linen.

Blue nods. "Yeah." He scratches the back of his neck. "I was really freaking out. I've already lost you quite a few too many times."

Of course I don't remember any of it. I don't remember anything other than the memories that have come back to me.

Blue turns to Alphys. "I think we need to go see Ink." He tells me quietly, so that doctor Alphys doesn't hear.

I tilt my head in confusion. "Who's Ink again?" The name sounds familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on exactly who he is.

Blue gestures for me to keep my voice down so that Alphys doesn't hear, and I mouth a silent 'sorry' to him.

Blue leans in to talk to me, speaking quietly into my ear. "Ink is the one who created everything in the entire world, and in all other worlds as well. Well, everything except you, but I think since he knows so much stuff about like, how each person just so happens to be alive, he might be able to fix you. He brought you back to life before when you died." Blue explains quickly, looking at where Alphys was standing in the corner to make sure she didn't suddenly turn around. The machine she was fiddling with was making a lot of strange beeping noises.

Alphys shook her head, and turned around to face us. "I'm s-s-sorry guys!" She blurted out, nearly in tears. "I can't figure out how to fix you."

Tears streamed quickly down her face, and Blue moved from the side of my bed to go comfort her. "It's not your fault Alphys." Blue insisted. "It's no one's fault."

"Yeah." I agreed, although not really sure how to comfort someone I just met a few days ago and haven't seen since. "It's no one's fault. If anything this is my fault, because I'm the one who keeps banging my head on things."

She wiped the tears from her eyes. "Th-thanks guys."

Blue walks back over to me. "It's time to go see Ink Sans." He whispers just out of earshot of Alphys. I nod.

And so the journey begins.
