"What is this place?" Blue looks around and then realizes where we are. "Is this the place where you stayed before? When Ink had to revive you."

I nod, looking around at the entirely white space and the screen that was still flashing colours across it. I wonder how we got here, and then I look down at my still white hands.

I look over at Blue. "I think I might be able to teleport, but....I'm not sure how-"

Nearly mid sentence, my world begins to go dark, and I realize that I'm falling into yet another memory.

Where am I?

I look around to see that there's a swing set and a small play structure. I think I might be at some sort of a park. I also look down at myself to realize that I'm quite a bit shorter than I used to be.

This must be a memory from my childhood. It seems like the only possible explanation.

I look around and see no parents watching over me, or any other kids. This place is empty.

I continue to leave the park, and walk out down the street. All the homes look abandoned. I walk up to one of them, and peer into the window.

No one. Everything inside the big brown house is covered with a thick layer of dust that looks like it must have been there for at least fifty years or more.

I sigh. I'm alone here.

And I figure, perhaps I've been alone here my whole life.

I wake up from the memory to find Blue hovering over me, trying to check the crack in the back of my skull. He leans back from me and sighs.

"You really have to stop doing that." He wipes the sweat from his brow. "I was getting seriously worried there for a while."

"I'm fine." I reply. "There's no need to worry about it."

"So...." he asks. "What memory did you see?"

I shrug. "My childhood, I think. It actually looked pretty lonely. I'm pretty sure I didn't have parents."

"Oh." Blue says. "I'm sorry about that."

"It's alright." I say. "It's not your fault. It just looked pretty grim is all. I'm actually kind of glad I don't remember all of it."

I look up at Blue. "Do you think we should try traveling to where ever Ink is hidden?" I ask.

Blue nods. "If you think you can."
