The doors to the dungeon opened without incident. I made no grand entrance as I stepped inside. We have all done this before, let's get it over with. I flipped my ebony hair over my shoulder and pulled my mask up to cover my nose and mouth, leaving my eyes exposed. The others followed wordlessly behind me, Ebi, Lin and Tt the closest. We went down the familiar stairs. Everywhere, this world seemed to repeat itself. It has no variety... Alexx really needs to work on that. Shame he was captured, though. I wonder how? I smirked at myself, recalling my brilliance. It was countless hours ago. I was- My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of struggling and a few hushed voices behind me, someone, Elon, had slipped on a stair and fell forward. Luckily, he didn't cause a domino of people falling on top of me down the rest of the stairs. The uncomfortably chilly air and Elon tripping urged me to check my footing.

I looked down, the normally dark brick stairs had a bright white-blue sheen to them. Ice. Why was there ice in here? Perhaps that's simply the theme of this dungeon. They all have a theme to them. The last one was water, this one must be ice. I dwelled on my thoughts as I continued more carefully down the stairs. Falling wouldn't kill me, but it would hurt. And even worse, embarrass me in front of everyone. I control them by fear. I can't afford to show any weakness. I confidently kept going.

At the bottom of the stairs, there was no hallway like in Rain's dungeon. It simply opened up to a grand room, icicles hanging from the ceiling glowed an eerie blue. Some were huge, twice as long as I was tall. Some were shorter than my pinkie finger. All of them lethally sharp. The floor of the cavern was blanketed in a fine layer of undisturbed snow with ice underneath. Throughout the room, there were seemingly random statues of people. They looked as if they could start moving and breathing any second. None did. Suspicious, I stepped forward. There was a double door at the end of the room, but knowing Alexx, there was a catch. I equipped my scissors into my hand in preparation. I scanned the room for any sign of unnatural movement.

As expected, something began to happen. The snow beneath my feet began to vibrate, the others behind me were wobbling and a few took their knives out as well. Tt was the first in motion, she sprinting at a nearly transparent figure forming along the wall. As soon as her knife passed through it, it was gone. More appeared. Along the walls, shadowy figures were gaining shape, the snow around them molded upwards, forming a solid body around their frame. Icicles began to fall from the ceiling next to the figures. One of them completed, and then another. They each reached down and grabbed the icicle and it formed into an icy sword. It glowed with the haze of frost. They looked as if they wore armor made entirely of ice. Light blue and jagged. I saw no movement of breath or any sign of life. Living armor? They bolted, with frozen rapiers swinging in front of them. The battle had begun.

"Woah! They are fast!" Tt said as the began to move.

Ebi quickly responded, "Don't get distracted! They are just like people."

They were indeed incredibly fast for their weight, my scissors were too light to effectively block their rapid slashing. The ice golem thrust forward, its ice glistening, trailing delicate snowflakes behind its path. I easily sidestepped and stabbed my scissors into the back of its neck, just underneath its translucent helmet. The golem instantly froze in its thrusting position instead of collapsing into a pile of snow. With this couple seconds of time, I switched from my scissors into my original Darkheart, the abysmal darkness of the blade was a stark contrast to the white and blue surrounding us.

"Help! It's cold!!"

Lin was on the ground, he had a cut on his arm form one of the golems, it was approaching me as its next victim. What caught my attention more as what was happening to my brother. From his cut, his skin was turning white. freezing instantly and spreading across his body in a few seconds. He was frozen solid. It shouldn't have, but that unnerved me. Frozen solid? These golems froze anyone they could so much as scratch. I glanced to the golem I just killed, it was also frozen. I didn't have much more time to think as the golem that has frozen Lin finally closed the distance. I didn't want to risk getting sliced. I rose my arm and threw my Darkheart. The golem attempted to dodge, but I still managed to cut the top of its shoulder. It lifted its arm even though it was stiffening. It sliced and missed me completely... and instead glanced the frozen structure of its fellow golem, the one I had killed. As the second one turned solid, the first seemed to come back to life.
