You had been wandering through this place for hours. You were exhausted by the end of it, finding a house that was surprisingly clean. It wasn't anything like the house on the surface you had lived in.
Slowly, you walked over, and inside. You were finding it harder to move for some reason. Ever since your near escape from that flower with a face, you had gotten scared out of your mind and fled from every battle. Your left leg had been almost immobile for about half the journey, but you had adrenaline and fear to power you through.
You had gotten inside, seeing some stairs leading downwards, but you had a strange feeling of not wanting to go there. You saw to your right a hallway with 3 doors, and a mirror at the end. You looked to your left and saw a living room, including a large, comfortable looking chair, a table with golden flowers on it, and a bookshelf.
You were scared, but walked to the right, seeing no one there. You opened the first door you saw, and it looked like it was a child's room. But, it had science stuff in it too, like the child had been learning about astronomy and chemistry.
Being curious, you read about some things in the chemistry section of a notebook. You also saw some jokes written on there. One of which you remembered your science teacher telling you.
Why can you never trust electrons?
"They're always negative... Thank you, Mr Woodcroft..." You uttered to yourself. (A/N: My science teacher actually told the class that joke. I was pretty much having a nostalgic moment when my dad told me that same joke recently.)
You sighed, putting down the paper and climbing into the bed there. You hadn't shut the room door, but you had shut the front door when you walked in. To you, it looked like no one lived there. Soon, you had fallen asleep.
*THE MAGNIFICENT SANS BRINGS YOU A TIMESKIP!!!*
You felt warmth around you, and wondered in a daze if you were actually awake. When you did wake up fully, you opened your eyes and blinked, remembering what you had done, and sighed.
"Wait... I wasn't covered over before... Who tucked me in...?" You thought.
You stood up, but felt pain shoot through your left leg. You bit back a yelp, and stumbled to the closed door.
"I didn't leave the door closed either... I left it open..." You turned around, seeing a hot pocket on a plate left on the dresser next to the bed. You were nervous, so turned back to the door, opening it easily.
It made no sound, and you glanced both ways, seeing no one. You began to use the wall as stabilization, and walk to the stairs, hearing laughter. You rushed down, thinking it was safe.
You had made it to a corner, and carefully peaked around it, seeing a skeleton sitting down, facing you but having his eyes closed in laughter.
You heard a female voice through the door. "Okay, one more... Knock knock."
The skeleton spoke, "Who's there?"
"Cows go."
A confused expression covered the skeleton's face, "Cows go who?"
"No! Cows go moo! You must be thinking of owls!"
You heard both sides laugh at that, and you just silently snickered. You took a step back, but it echoed in the hall, and the skeleton shot upwards.
"Toriel, do you mind waiting for me? I need to deal with something." The skeleton uttered, his tone low and cautious.
"Alright, sir... Whatever you need me to do..."
You had rushed to hide, but tripped, landing wrong on your arm, bending your wrist the wrong way. You whimpered a bit, but tried to get up. However, you found you couldn't move. You heard a gasp, and the skeleton had knelt down next to you.
"Are you alright, kid?" The skeleton asked, but you just shied away in fear. Your wrist hurt like hell, and your left leg was throbbing.
The skeleton saw you holding your wrist, and something about your leg. He gasped slightly, and tried to slowly pick you up. He knew what to do.
You let him, being too scared to object. You just let him take you to the room you had stayed in. He had put you in the bed, and began using a turquoise magic on your wrist. The pain disappeared soon.
You were confused, and the skeleton just smiled warmly at you, "It's healing magic... but anyway, my name's Sans... what's yours, kiddo?"
You were still scared, but not as much. "(Y/n)..."
"Nice to meet you, (Y/n)... now, can I heal your leg? It looks bad..."
You hesitantly nodded. Sans began to heal your leg, and you noticed it was bleeding. You hadn't seen that earlier.
"Alright... it's all healed..." Sans smiled. "Now, get some rest... You need it..."
You were quickly able to sleep, knowing you had someone care about you.
