The snow fell silently on the once peaceful town. Now...

It was complete silence...

The tone was dull. Every monster slaughtered into dust...

You saw Papyrus kneel down, and your eyes widened.

"Oh no... No no no no no! PAPYRUS DON'T!! DON'T TRUST THEM THIS RUN!!"

Your inward cries translated to your feet charging towards him, but you were held back by a black whip wrapping around your leg.

"☠︎□︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ 👎︎□︎ ■︎□︎⧫︎ ♓︎■︎⧫︎♏︎❒︎♐︎♏︎❒︎♏︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ ❄︎♒︎♏︎ ♒︎◆︎❍︎♋︎■︎ ♓︎⬧︎ ♎︎□︎♓︎■︎♑︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ ☜︎⌧︎♍︎♏︎●︎●︎♏︎■︎⧫︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ ❄︎❒︎◆︎●︎⍓︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ ☜︎⌧︎♍︎♏︎●︎●︎♏︎■︎⧫︎📬︎📬︎📬︎"

You didn't understand what they said. You didn't care. You yanked at the whip, but before you could come loose...

Dust scattered by you... in the wind...

--------xxxxxxxx--------

You gasped, shooting up. You were in your bed. You shook your head, tears streaming down your face. You stayed silent.

"HUMAN!! COME DOWN HERE AND TRY MY GREAT SPAGHETTI!!"

"Its more edible this time, kiddo...!"

You could've called the lines right back at them, but you didn't. The timeline reset, and you had to watch Papyrus die...

Again...

Or was it just a nightmare?

Yeah... just a nightmare...

You moved slowly, in no rush to get dressed into... another set of clothing for this run.

Might as well change it as much as possible, right?

You slowly opened your door, and took a deep breath. Your hair covered your eyes, hiding the tears. You smiled softly.

"Hey guys... beautiful day outside, isn't it?" You called, your voice cracking a bit.

"WHAT? HUMAN, YOU ARE ACTING DIFFERENT THAN TH- ER... YESTERDAY... ARE YOU FEELING OKAY?"

"Yeah, kiddo. Snowdin is always snowing. Well, most of the time." Sans uttered.

"That's... correct... sorry, I just... uh... I'm heading outside..." You walked out, and went through Snowdin, towards Waterfall. You knew what to do.

You waited there, and the human, coated in dust, stood there. Their expression was emotionless. But when they saw you, they had a slightly shocked face.

"How many times have we done this song and tango, Chara?" You asked.

Immediately, they charged at you, but, like Sans, you dodged expertly.

"What? You think I would just take a hit? Nah. I'm not lazy."

The human tried again, and again, and again, but you kept dodging. You barely broke a sweat, and when they were tired, you attacked.
