The title will make sense, I promise.

You were a vampire. But not a normal one. Unlike most, you could eat human food, and it would sustain you. Until Monsters came to the surface...

You would get fidgety when they were around. You didn't understand why, until you learned they were made of magic. That explained it.

You were always called a magic vampire, but you didn't understand what that meant. You didn't have powers, so that was ruled out.

You realised magic was your version of blood for normal vampires. You could handle most of the monsters, but... one, the magic was just... radiating off of...

Sans...

You fidgeted so much you thought you were going to be asked if you were okay. You barely visited them, because you were worried if you were going to attack Sans.

But then, you got evicted...

Great...

When Sans found out, he insisted you stayed with him. You tried to say you had friends you could stay with, but Sans wasn't letting you. You soon ended up accepting.

You managed to hold back for a month. But then...

One night, you couldn't sleep. You could feel the hunger pulsing through you. You growled, holding your stomach. You could still smell Sans' magic. Your door slowly opened.

You looked over, and saw the skeleton in your doorway. You whimpered, and backed away slightly. Sans walked over, but you scrambled off the bed. You hid in the corner, fumbling to grab the chains you had set up for yourself.

Sans knelt down, and put his hand on your cheek. You looked into his eye sockets. Your senses were beginning to cloud with hunger. You whimpered again, trying to move away.

"(Y/n), what's wrong? Why are you staying away from me?" Sans asked.

You whined a bit. It wasn't going to leave you alone. You looked directly at Sans again, and your eyes shimmered in the moonlight. Sans saw the hunger and fear hidden in your eyes.

"(Y/n)... What's-?"

You growled, and pinned Sans to the side of the bed. He blushed slightly and looked at you.

"(Y/n)?" Sans muttered.

"I'm a vampire..." You growled. "But... I'm not into blood... I'm... a magic drinker... You... when I'm around you, I just get-! An almost uncontrollable urge to-......" Your eyes widened when your brain caught up with you.

You backed away, and your eyes stayed trained on the ground. Your breathing escalated. You had backed up into the corner. Sans slowly made his way to you.

"I'm not angry, sweetheart... it's okay..." Sans whispered.

He looked at you softly. He seemed to be reading your eyes. You shuddered, and backed into the wall as much as possible.

"You get hungry when I'm around, don't you?" Sans asked. You blushed, nodding slightly. "Well... How about this? I'll get my HP up more, and then you can feed off me all you want, okay?"

You hesitated. "I don't want to hurt you... I'm literally draining your life essence..."

"And? If I get my HP up, it won't matter that much... only if we can do it in bursts. So I can heal up before you continue. And we do that until you have had your fill. That can be our routine."

You sighed, "Okay... but only come to me when your HP is up! I can't handle being around you and holding back anymore..."

"Alright. I'll keep that in mind." Sans winked, and teleported off.

And that's what Sans did.

He managed to, in a week, get his HP up to 20. The healthy range for a pacifist. You sighed in your room. You hadn't gone out, unless it was to talk to your human friends.

A knock on your door snapped you out of your focus. You smelt familiar magic.

"Come in..." you muttered.

Sans walked in, and smiled, holding cinnamon buns in a box. You looked in awe.

"Only a week and you managed to...?"

Sans nodded. "Okay. Now, let me know how this will go."

"Well, I might not know... I've never drank magic before... but, I'm going off movies. If you feel faint, tell me and I will stop." You blushed.

"I will. And I will heal up."

You took a breath, and Sans sat on the bed against the wall. You looked at him, "Are you ready?"

Sans saw in your eyes that you were holding back with all your willpower. "Yes. I'll just make it easier."

Sans quickly took off his jacket, and pulled down his white shirt. Just so his neck was exposed. You took another deep breath, and slowly put your head against Sans' neck. You were shaking a bit, but quickly bit down on his neck.

I'm not going to explain this because I am terrible at this.

Sans gently pushed you off, and you stopped. You knew he needed to heal. You quickly gave him a cinnamon bun. He took a piece of it, and ate it.

He smiled at you, and nodded. You continued.

This went on for a few minutes, before you straight up stopped. You were going to get bandages, but when Sans ate a cinnamon bun piece, the wound healed itself.

"You full?" Sans asked.

You nodded, "Yeah... Thanks, Sans... I'm sorry for that..."

"It's not your fault... we can do this each time you get hungry if you want..."

"Actually, human food will sustain me. But sometimes it won't. So, if I come to you in the middle of the night asking, don't blame me." You shrugged.

Sans smiled at you, "I won't. I know you never asked for this."

"Yeah... I never did ask for it..."

Sans eventually confessed that he loved you. You returned his feelings, and you then didn't need to feed on magic. Apparently, the love you shared was enough that you were full from it.

But, soon, Sans was used to it. He had gotten used to you not needing him at random times. But of course, now you were able to cuddle longer. And in turn, sleep longer.

You were laying on Sans, his hands stroking your hair and your back. You were relaxed, and half asleep. You could've laid there for hours.

"Hey, sweetheart?" Sans whispered to you.

You hummed in response, your drowsiness shimmering through.

"Why are you so cute?" Sans smirked, kissing your forehead.

You shrugged, and nuzzled into him. The fluff on his jacket was so warm and soft. You sighed, and fell asleep. Sans noticed your breathing change.

"Sleep well, (N/n)... I'll always be here for you..." Sans kissed your forehead again gently.

You stirred a bit. Sans worried he had woken you up, but he stroked your hair gently.

"Shhhhhh..... Shhhhhhhh shhhhh shhh....." Sans whispered. "It's okay... you're okay..."

You settled, and Sans just cuddled with you until he fell asleep too.
