Weird hobby time/Things I think people judge me about!
-Plays Animal Jam at 17 years old.
I started this game when I was 9, a little after the beta testing stage actually. But I never really stopped playing it...
-Plays Minecraft
I saw a meme the other day that Minecraft is becoming more popular? And I looked and it's ranked one above Fortnite in most popular core PC games? So that's fun because I started that when I was 11.
-Likes reading middle-school targeted books like Percy Jackson
If anyone judges me for this, they can burn in the fiery pits of Tartarus!
-Saves change just to buy stuff in the school vending machines
I can't be the only one that does this, right?
Be a kid again.
They say, "Act your age, you're an adult now."
What they don't realize is that you're not.
You don't know how to pay the bills, much less live on your own.
In a world of aging people, you feel lost.
Take a step back and remember the girl before 6th grade.
Didn't care what others thought.
She never had a worry, unless about what cereal to eat.
But when told to grow up, ask: "At what cost?"
Childhood is a precious thing, don't lose it.
Sing made-up songs about your day.
You don't get a second chance, use it while you have it.
A life should be lived, not taken away.
So when told to be an adult, don't forget the child in you.
Don't hide in a shell of regret and pain.
Make up your mind while you still can.
And when told to grow up, don't,
Just be a kid again.
-a poem by Samantha Bond
Dear future me,
Hopefully, you're more mature now, but you can't fool anyone. You make the same dumb jokes and look at the same dumb memes. There hasn't been a time in your life where your title wasn't Class Clown.
Make sure to teach your kids how to be kids. They probably drive you up a wall sometimes, but that's karma from your mom.
A long time ago you only cared about making "A's", not because you wanted to, but because you were afraid your parents would love you less if you didn't. Hopefully, you know by now that that was far from true. Never make your kids feel afraid of you.
Keep making things out of paper, and drawing things like butts and derp faces. There doesn't have to be a limit on your creativity. When you look back on these letters, maybe you'll have an explanation for doing what you did. Because, at this point, I still don't know what I'm doing, but I'm using my powers as a seer to know that you are famous because of it.
