So! Your family is a little funky!

Are you a teenager living with a crazy family? Do you have siblings that drive you crazy? Do you try to avoid your family at all costs in any social situation? Then welcome to this chapter where we will discuss families and weird things about them!

A little bit of a disclaimer: I have no fracking idea what kind of family situation you guys have. I don't know how many parents or relatives you have. I don't know what gender they are. I don't know who are divorced, who isn't married, who is over-bearing or who is neglectful and my personal family situation is not something that I call a "normal family environment", it's just normal to me and it's (obviously) what I grew up around. So don't apply my personal family situation to your own because it's most likely not even close to yours.

So, browsing the internet, with my keywords as "We're all family here meme", I stumble across multiple olive garden images and it immediately made me think of the olive garden "bot" script. So in case you forgot, here you go.

It literally has nothing to do with family but it's too funny not to include

It literally has nothing to do with family but it's too funny not to include. Okay! on with the chapter!

I realized, through an awesome friend (I purple you girl), that I talk wayyyyyyy too much about myself without really mentioning my family at all. I know I've brought them up before, but they also don't really have a personality in this book huh? So shall we follow the same format as the last chapter and introduce my family in a list? I think yes because I'm the author here and you can't tell me how to write my book so suck it that's what we're doing!

Before I start

As a general background, there are six people in my family, including myself. I'm the oldest kid, which is scary 'cause I'm supposed to be the example and I'm probably the most childish no-filter type person ever. We're all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. AKA LDS. AKA Mormon. Don't believe the musical because 98% of it is twisting the truth. We're mostly a pretty good functioning family. There have been many times where I felt very disconnected from them and genuinely didn't want to be around them. More on that later. But, in general, we're a pretty loving family.

My Dad

I'm debating whether or not I should use their real names. Probably not since you know my last name. We'll just refer to my dad as Dad.

So Dad is a dentist and he's the bishop of our ward (like a region of the church that all the Mormons in my small town go to for sacrament and Sunday school that belongs to a worldwide religion).

My first job was working for Dad, cleaning the dentist's office. So like, floors, sinks, boring stuff that you don't wanna hear about.

Dad and I are movie buddies. All of my pop culture knowledge stems from him. He is the first person I go to if I want to know a good movie to watch. Name a movie and I guarantee he's seen it or knows the entire plot. It's kind of scary how much he knows. But I blame my love for Marvel and horror and thrillers and just movies in general on him.
