For the first time today, all three of us were uncharacteristically serious.

I looked down, fidgeting with my last chocolate finger which was melting in my hand. "What's the girl like anyway?" Ast broke the silence, and Nina read out the 'Personality' section of Violet Kang.

"....She is an extreme introvert. Violet tends to feel the need of fitting in and has a low self-esteem. Although she tries to be mature at school, she is the youngest child of the family..." "How does that help anything?" I interrupted bitterly. "I. DON'T. KNOW" Surprised, I felt my head snap up.

Nina not knowing something was a very rare occasion. I looked across to Ast. He exchanged shocked expressions with me and then pretended to have a heart-attack. The almost-all-knowing Nina of course, knew what was happening but pretended not to see and kept rambling. "....Things she likes are; manga, anime, Kpop and cats. Hmmmm oh! She's also in your drama class Evan."

I tried to will my face into a I-totally-knew-that face, but Ast and Nina looked right through me as though I'm were an open window.

When I was about to plead my innocence, the stupid school bell rang (temporarily irritating the world). Ast shoved his remaining sandwich into his mouth and tried to speak. It was like; "Wa duh I haff naw?" and Nina, an expert of Ast-inese, answered "Options" without much difficulty.

While packing her bag, Nina hesitated and looked at me. "Evan...You have drama. Please try to talk to her at least once." and gave me a small smile and made her way towards music. Ast went to Food tech which he only joined to eat. I just collected my stuff, double checked my timetable (just in case) and blended into the huge clump of students.
