Puppeteer

Chapter 32-Theo and Anastasia up the tree....

The first person who discovered Anastasia's feelings towards Theo was Anastasia herself.

This all took place one day while she was meditating and observing her own relationships. (Puppeteers often meditate, because apparently it helps control our ability and reflect on ourselves. Personally, I hate the M of meditation so dad gave up on trying to convince me to do otherwise.)

She later told me she was tempted to burn her pink string towards Theo, as she clearly saw the difficulty of a relationship between a Puppeteer and an Analyzer, especially since they were in the same Trio!

Ah didn't I mention this? Like how my family heirloom is the giant scissors, (so lame), Anastasia's family heirloom is fire. She can literally burn relationships. (Let's go boss!)

However, collecting back her wits, Ana realised it wasn't the brightest idea to wipe Theo's memory of herself, and debated what to do.

The second person who realised Ana's feelings were no other than Theo. Next day at school (since they were still high school students then), as soon as he saw Anastasia, the precious information flowed into his head. (Theo told me Ana looked so pale, he turned his ability on just to see what was wrong)

Now, this, ladies and gentlemen, is why I respect Ana so much. As soon as the lunch break started, Ana broke into the classroom Theo was in, dragged him by hand to a secluded place, and confessed straight out.

"I didn't know before, but I like you." When Theo tried to say he knew she stopped him, saying "I know you know. So, what now?"

Theo asked for some time, and they decided to ignore it till he came to a decision. While going home, Emma wisely decided not to comment on their obviously disastrous auras. However, I was not mature enough to ignore it.

When I saw a tint of pink both emitted from his face and strings, I immediately tried to shout, "MUMMMM! THEO LIKES SOMEONE-" I remember clearly as yesterday how he shoved a chocolate bar into my mouth, marched into his room, and stayed there for an hour or more.

The next day during dinner, Theo announced he was dating Anastasia. It was very easy to see the concern on our parents' faces, but they congratulated Theo anyway.

I personally thought Ana was way too cool for Theo, and expected them to break up in a month. Betraying my expectations however, they were still dating for a year, throughout the session where Ana's hair turned from blonde to black to blue to the pink now.

Anyway, back to the present. Roy was teasing Nina yet again. "When will my big princess ever get a boyfriend? Do you have anyone you like?" Nina shot me a threatening glare even before I said anything. Her hands glowed, showing me the consequence of opening my mouth.

Excusing myself for "changing clothes", I went back into my room. I laid down, then left my body once again. Now, it was time to eavesdrop!

extra info: Ana's family didn't realise Ana liked Theo before, because the families tend to shut down their abilities when it comes to their own family. (Which is almost impossible for Aurors)

Evan usually has a poker face, but loves gossip and generally listens to others gossiping (the others don't notice him eavesdropping)

Ast is usually the one that spreads the gossip in the first place (if it doesn't offend anyone)

Nina tends to know before anyone and secretly ships (Evan and Ast will tease her till the end if they knew-but alas they're not the Analyzer)
