"Oh my gosh Violet!" "I know right?" "DId you just???" "YES"

Pure shock covered my face as Violet revealed her new white project, yes, white....

"HOW THE HELL DID IT BECOME BROWN IN ONE DAY" "I'M SORRY"

"This is exactly why I didn't want you using white." Swapping Violet's 'scarf' for another yarn, Violet still avoided looking at me, with a peculiar expression of those who clearly think what they did wasn't wrong.

"..At least it became long this time?" Well, obviously, it's been a week since we started to actually hang out in the club room. Everyday we sat along, sometimes occupied by Ast or Nina or both of them terrorizing the classroom with different yarn and needle.

"Yeah I guess it's like 10cm long" "!!Yes!" "-But a normal scarf should at least be 100cm."

The proud smirk was wiped off as immediately as it was made. Instead, it got transferred on my face.

"I wonder if I could actually finish one scarf during the term holidays. I mean, we have a week till the holidays" "Hmm, I guess maybe, since we have 2weeks till the holidays-"

Wait, a week left till the holidays?

'Evan, we're going to Grandma's house during the holidays~'

Mum's faint voice echoed across my brain.

A week left?

"Hellooo? Earth of Evaaaan???" A hand flew across my view, cutting my train of thought.

"Hey Evan? You okay? You looked pale for a second."

"Ah the holidays? Are you going somewhere during the holidays?"

Violet's innocent eyes broke cold sweat across my forehead. Uh...

"I'm..going to my grandma's." "Cool!"

Yeah, cool....

"Bwahahaha did you seriously just leave it at that?"

"Yesh shut up Ast."

Afterschool, Ast and Nina decided to crash into my house just to laugh at me, it seems.

"Anyway, being totally serious here," Ast's clown face slipped off to divulge the 'true' Ast, which I seeked today.

"Will you be okay in your grandma's house?" Averting his gaze, my eye- the uncovered one, stumbled on the picture.

Theo and I, as a child, laughing into the camera, with grandma, intently staring at me- or my eye.

"Who knows?" Shrugging, I put the photo down. Ast did not miss this gesture. "Text me whenever" interrupted Nina, who, like Ast, was becoming increasingly paranoid over me.

"I guess this holiday is going to be greaaat"
