Chapter 28: A new mission for the Shadowhunter

*About 3 weeks later at the New York Institute with Nadia and Alec*
~Nobody's POV~
It's been 3 weeks since the fight in New York for the vault the Shadowhunters made a stand and fought resulting in Nadia and Alec making love by the end of the night after confronting there feelings they ended up falling more in love with each other since then but now a new danger arises and fate takes a turn for everyone. But much has changed since then Jace has agreed to join Valentine.
~Nadia Gray's POV~

It's been only 3 weeks since the attack on the New York Institute for trying too get into the vault which holds sacred weapons and secrets that can win a war, so then as I kept hearing the sounds of my heels clicking about Alec came into my room I was bottle feeding Jewel we were just sitting on my rocking chair as I sang her a song from a mudane movie called"Anastasia" the song was called "Once Upon A December" when she was falling asleep I saw Alec standing there concerned yet happy about something.
Once Jewel was asleep holding her bottle in her crib I had Alec sit beside me on the bed as we sat in silence I spoke up and said"Alec let me ease your mind open it up to me but you need to relax alright," then Alec nodded his head he then laid his head on my lap as I placed both my hands on either side of his head as we both closed our eyes.
*Inside of Alec's thoughts with Nadia calming him down*
Alec Lightwood:
This next mission from the Clave is dangerous they have no idea what they are asking of us right now how can I explain to everyone that Jace has gone dark they'll be so destroyed by this news including Clary.
Nadia Gray:
Alec you need to let me in more so I can help you relief of the stress of this grave news.
Alec Lightwood:
Of course my darling one the Clave has planned a new mission for us but I fear that you may not like it though.
Nadia Gray:
If it is the Clave's orders then we must obey it Alec what do they plan for us to do on this new mission.
Alec Lightwood:
The Clave wants you, me Isabelle, Clary, and whoever else joins our team they want us too kill and hunt down Jace Wayland for treason and crimes against the Clave.
Nadia Gray:
What! No! I refuse to kill my own brother Alec surely we can be civil with Jace when we find him.

~Alec Lightwood's POV~

After we were done talking in my thoughts Nadia and I stood up and she was distressed but we need Clary and Izzy to attend this short meeting in the meeting room.

~Nobody's POV~
It's only been 24 hours since Jace switched sides and the team must decide what to do if they do just so happen to see him out and about they can't just kill him because the Clave has asked them to do that, of course things have changed ever since the team got Clary's mom back from Valentine and his men 3 weeks ago.
Now with Jace on Valentine's team the game board has changed and the Clave has given Alec, Clary, Izzy, and Nadia their orders.
~Izzy and Clary's POV~

We were in the middle of training when Alec and Nadia came to get us for a meeting it seemed important from how Nadia sounded her voice was filled with concern and worry as well also too, so after training ended we went into the meeting room and we sat down as Nadia pulled up a screen of Jace and Valentine from what seems to be their current mission on his boat.
So we looked at them both and said"Alec, Nadia, what is this meeting about now that it's so important," then Nadia teared up as Alec explained to us both what the Clave is asking us to do.
~Nadia Gray's POV~

After the meeting I went to get ready for the mission but not before checking up on my 4 month year old daughter who was now awake from her nap I called Jocelyn to watch her while Clary, Alec, Izzy, and I are gone for a few hours today we 4 should be back before it gets dark outside and then with that we were off finding my dumb traitor of a brother. I'm hoping he hasn't done anything too rash.
