We just got back to the London Institute from a mission to finding the rest of the Infernal Devices that can save Jem my husband who I would do anything for. But things got more complicated with our enemy trying to get the medicine that helps Jem get better that's why Will, Magnus, and I are doing everything we can to safe Jem from dying. Our families will never be at peace until Jem and I are buried together the two of us made a promise to each other and to our two family's whose gonna remind their children and their children's children that our descendants come from a long line of Shadowhunters. ~Jem Carstairs's POV~

I was with my beautiful wife and friend Tessa Gray her, Will, and I got back to the London Institute from a mission we were sent on to find and retrieve the Infernal devices as well. Also an enemy is trying to get my medicine that helps me heal and not let me die I can't leave Tessa or my Parabatai Will all on their own. Tessa and I made a promise to each other and to our families thwart our sacrifices are really for in the future and that our descendants come from a long line of Shadowhunters who protects the humans from all things bad. *On the Tames Bridge later that night in London with Jem and Tessa* ~Jem and Tessa's POV~ As we both stood on the Tames Bridge we looked into each other's eyes as the two of us held one another's hands and as we looked into each other's eyes we both repeated our promise to each other after we were married, it went like this we said" From the flame ashes we shall rise and redeem our two families names with honor, we shall never let anything keep us both apart not even death itself, our descendants shall know what sacrifices we both made to let them have a better future. I Jem/Tessa vow to protect you, cherish, and love you as long as we both shall live and the memories of us both shall be remembered through magic and many more to give our two families hope," after we said our vows we used a book that we keep everything in and we had all those words appear on the book pages. And this will be a difficult journey ahead of us but none of us shall be persuaded otherwise.
